Have you heard any MEANINGFUL talk on a separate Palestinian state being implemented? No. So there you have it.

Your faith in the possibility of one is therefore unfounded. No indications are there to say a free Palestinian state will be arranged.

Actually, President Bush was quoted this summer as saying the only peaceful solution was a two state system. Some would say free elections in Gaza were the first signs of the ability to have a two state system. But maybe you're right there is no solution other than to keep everything the way it is. And that's real constructive.

Everyone, including your 'terrorist" group hamas, will agree on 2 states; and as i showed you the israelis know the most viable negotiating party in palestine now is hamas. But israel will not adhere to the borders agreed by the whole wide world. Why you ask? because they have no intent to establish peace heck they assassinated the one leader who signed the only peace treaty with the palestinians. Like i said earlier in this thread, not only is it ok but it is mandatory to have bias towards the truth.

I actually never assumed you were ignorant, i just always thought you d want to be as objective as possible, and in doing so you might give more credit to one group than it's due.

I think we re amalgamating truth and reality, truth is unequivocal reality on the other hand can be molded.

For us to begin discussion about having a truly separate Palestinian state, what first has to happen is Israel needs to be sanctioned to the fullest extent of international law and free handouts from US taxpayer dollars needs to halt. Israel has their army already, so they don't need any more handouts. Once these sanctions happen, and once Israel can no longer sustain wars and break agreements, then we can talk about a separate state. If not the aggression continues unfortunately.

It was a picture of dumping US taxpayer money into an Israeli wine glass that lead to the bottom where a palestinian kid was drowning.

The problem is that you're looking at this issue from one side only: Israel must change. It's not just Israel that has to change, Andy. And even if that were the case, Israel would never accept that. Sanctioning them to the fullest extent of international law is easier said than done as states are always more or less sovereign, even if they are bound by treaties.

Like I've said before, I believe Andy has difficulties with being moderate. He suddenly finds out that not everything America does is good and now America can do nothing but wrong anymore. Same thing with Obama. He was mad about him a couple of months ago, but Obama screws up once according to him and the love is over.

I really believe the only way to solve the issue is to create 2 states. Palestine and Israel. That's basically the only compromise each side would make. It would be pointless to ask Israelis to leave the Middle East because they won't. It would be terrible to ask Palestinian to keep living like second class citizens. The only way to stop the violence is to separate the two.
