The thing I liked most about it was the music they chose, they used some 12th century troubadour songs, very cool.

It seems Kurds are winning in the North Eastern areas of Syria while IS is winning the battle on the middle of the Northern Syria...

Decision was expected. It's been clarified that main target is Assad regime. That's why kemalist, assadist chp said no. We had to take initiative, otherwise that would strenghten marxist groups and extend the lifetime of Assad. Öcalan should not be taken seriously as he is saying one thing when talking to officials and saying another thing when talking to his fans. A few months ago, one of their deputies made a similiar statement, she said ''if pkk choose to fight(againt Turkish army) they will get results. Of course that was before they got their asses handed to them by ISIS. Now they are begging for help of the ones they threaten.

isn't ISIS like 30,000 people and a good amount of them in Syria? How is that small a force launching offensives (and winning) against a country as large as Iraq?

There is no army since USA invaded the country. Besides of that, Shia is not known by their courage on battlefield. they usually dress like civilians, leave their weapons behind and run away when the enemy is getting closer. They even left tanks behind.

He's right on all counts.

As much as I dislike the foreign policy of most of the developed western countries, there is no doubt in my mind that internally, they are more moral, more just, more egalitarian than most so called "muslim countries", and definitely more so than all arab countries.
