He's the worst thing about that movie for sure, he's terrible.

The thing I liked most about it was the music they chose, they used some 12th century troubadour songs, very cool.

he ruined the movie for sure

if you liek troubadour stuff check out jordi savall, hes a cultural treasure

this was my favorite song from kingdom of heaven, mainly coz i knew about it before the movie :p @ReBeL check it out

I've never heard it. I'm not into movies to be honest too.

I just figured it is in Arabic. I could not understand what the singer wanted to say :) It looked like Crosswords for me...

    Is that a Sufi song?

    it's an andalusian poem:

أإخواننا والموتُ قد حال دوننا، وللموتِ حكمٌ نافذٌ في الخلائقِ -سبقتكم للموت والعمرطية- وأعلم أن الكل لا بد لاحقي بعيشكم أو باضطجاعي في الثرى، ألم تكُ في صفوٍ من العيشِ الرائقِ؟ فمن مرَ بي فليمض بي مترحما ولا يك منسياً وفاء الأصادقِ

    translation from internet:

'O brothers, & death has seperated us *** & death has an obvious controle (an effective sentence) on creatures -I preceded you to death & life is a fold- *** & you should know that everybody will surely follow me (sooner or later) With your lives or my laying in the dust (tomb) *** weren't you having a life of peace & tranquility So whoever passes by me let them ask mercy for me *** & don't forget the fidelity to the (close) good friends'

actually i didnt hear the stuff inside the dashes - -

    You know Arabic deneb?
He knows more than me :)

    - - - Updated - - -

Kurdish fighters just controlled a border point between Iraq and Syria in another front of war between them and IS. It s called Rabeea...

It seems Kurds are winning in the North Eastern areas of Syria while IS is winning the battle on the middle of the Northern Syria...

The north Western areas of Syria still did not see any material battles between IS and Kurds as IS are still fighting groups of Free Syrian Army there before reaching the areas controlled by Kurds...

There's a Pakistani columnist and political analyst by the name of Hasan Nisar. This guy is spot on about 99% of the time about the state of Muslims and the Muslim world today. It's a shame his interviews and tv-appearances aren't subtitled. I did find this one and I thought I'd share.

I might just translate one of his videos myself, it's so damn good.

Sadly, Reuters and AFP are late at least two days in that region, Abel...

The official new agency of Turkey, Andalou agency just confirmed that IS fighters have entered Kobane from the east...

Anyway, Turk, what do you think of the decision of the Turkish parliament today?
And is it right that Abdullah Öcalan threatened Turkey today that if IS make massacres in Kobane, there will be no more peace between Kurds and Turks? Does he really want the Turkish army to save the lives of non-Turk kurds?
Decision was expected. It's been clarified that main target is Assad regime. That's why kemalist, assadist chp said no. We had to take initiative, otherwise that would strenghten marxist groups and extend the lifetime of Assad. Öcalan should not be taken seriously as he is saying one thing when talking to officials and saying another thing when talking to his fans. A few months ago, one of their deputies made a similiar statement, she said ''if pkk choose to fight(againt Turkish army) they will get results. Of course that was before they got their asses handed to them by ISIS. Now they are begging for help of the ones they threaten.

isn't ISIS like 30,000 people and a good amount of them in Syria? How is that small a force launching offensives (and winning) against a country as large as Iraq?
There is no army since USA invaded the country. Besides of that, Shia is not known by their courage on battlefield. they usually dress like civilians, leave their weapons behind and run away when the enemy is getting closer. They even left tanks behind.

    He's right on all counts.

As much as I dislike the foreign policy of most of the developed western countries, there is no doubt in my mind that internally, they are more moral, more just, more egalitarian than most so called "muslim countries", and definitely more so than all arab countries.

Western governments would not even donate their sins if they don't get more in return. He sounds like a burning anti-muslim who just found his way out of hell. What does it say in the end of the video? Who did lie? 3:02
