But what's really funny is that our media, and our government, is basically supporting Mousavi. What did Mousavi do again? He was one of those behind killing thousands of his own people and also supposedly behind the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut.

Yes, you read that right. The media and government of the US want the guy who planned to kill our Marines to win the election! Or in other words, we're supporting terrorism. :lol:

It just goes to show that all these games, or in media double speak, "war on terrorism", is all nonsense. We've already been through this with Osama Bin Laden, someone who worked with and was funded by the CIA.

don't forget that we also helped iraq get strapped for their war against iran back in the day. so our meddling usually blows back up in our face about 20years down the road literally

They are really tying to break the people's dignity as a human beings. Sick, twisted fucks.

    i think thats why Obama has decided to stay well clear of this situation.

    I think the only thing beyond a full scale invasion that the west can do now is to have the UN place trade sanctions on Iran untill an idenpendant//UN investigation can be completed on the election.

    I dont think thats true,but basijis invaded university,university dorms and library, they ruined student's rooms and smashed whatever was in their rooms.hit and mug them there and went out.

    Usually basijis are group of poeple who are loyal to supreme leader,the have local organization in every part of every city! basically wherever there is mosque there is organized basiji group there.and they are supporting by government.

    Im trying to say,as basij is known a group of people,they dont have a interrogation center.thats iran Intelligence and security ministry which is doing that job ! and they do that in secret interrogation center which there are known people who has been killed there.if u say rapped,im not gonna rule out the possiblity ! they dont know any limits.

    About 10 years ago,when the reformist wave was growing in iran with Khatami,iran ministry of intelligence killed 85 reformist writer,political leaders and activists,.Khatami was president and after investigatment said they are doing that in this ministry(which unofficially is under control of supreme leader not president),and also named Saeid Emami as on of the key people,they killed him instantly and said he committed suicide in jail and didnt let anyone investigate more.the case is famous by the name of "Chain Murders of iran".

    but for sure,there are Ministry secret people and organization in basij.

    Yes, it was the west and the Jews who rigged your election so their arch enemy would win by a land slide. And b4 any1 claims it's possible this was done on purpose to provoke the population into action, than y did Ahmadinejad and the supreme leader accept the victory and crown themselves as winners so early? They cheated, their abusing their own ppl, and they are pretending nothing is wrong. Their animals, and the fact they pretend to be on some holy quest to defend islam is the biggest load of shit Ive heard.

    The state media is broadcasting "confessions" from arrested demonstrators, as if no1 is aware it was tortured out of them. People who are phoning in to news media outside of Iran get an automated call a few minutes later saying they know they have spoken to outside media and to beware. All the markings of a government that was legitimately elected...

    I think you're forgetting that Mousavi came out and claimed victory before Ahmedinijhad, saying he had 65% of the votes, as it was reported by Reuters. Then after that the other party said they won.

    Thew news agencies here only reported that Mousavi won when the initial votes came in.

    Who came out 1st to claim victory is trivial, especially if voting wasn't finished yet. My point was that Ahmadinejad and the supreme leader accepted the victory and claimed it as their own. Y would they have done this if the west and zionist were behind it, as they are now claiming? It's nonsense. They are name dropping, using the same tactic they have for years to rally the ppl around a common enemy.


    Andy, I have no doubt that intelligence agencies such the CIA, MI6, Mossad, etc are providing assistance as we speak, most likely in the form of of secure telecommunications to help the opposition leaders organize themselves. However, I doubt they initiated it. Capitalizing off of it, undoubtedly, but the CIA isn't powerful enough to directly control the ballot in Iran considering their history there and how the current regime came to rule.

    Also, the violence doesn't help their cause either. It clearly demonstrates how the current regime view democracy. Rigging a vote to bury the opposition is childs play when your willing to kill and torture your opposition like they are doing now.

    Why did the government kick the media out and arrest over 100 reformist leaders (many of whom are students ffs), and disrupt cell and internet networks on the 1st day? It's as if they anticipated the people would question such a landslide victory (ie: they knew they rigged the vote), and took preventative measures early on in hope any backlash would not gather any steam and progress to where we are now.

    From what i understood, the cell and internet networks were blocked for many days. Internet was allowed only after midnight. I don't know if it's still the case but it was the case until couple of days ago.
    It's really a strange behavior from someone who "won" almost 65% of the votes.
