And I don't hate Italy, I hate some of their fans. But in predictable fashion, I guess the fans like Salvo think they are the end all and be all of Italy. That's just what Azzurri fans do, think the world revolves around them.
To be fair you make a valid argument suggesting you don't hate the Azzurri, it's not as if anyone could get that impression from you at all, as if you have something negative to say about everything to do with the Azzurri at every situation

But I guess 'people like me/Salv/AN Other' - Italy fans - funnily enough, will respond to your tripe! So we humour Andy again in a topic where Italy is mentioned, have a cookie :cookie:

My problem is. People either love Italy like a crazy stalker or hate them like Amadinedjad hates jews.

It's the same where I come from. People are saying it's italy's fault because they let these guys into the stadium. But 3 weeks ago when I wen't to the biggest derby in Denmark and the fans I was with caused riot's in the stands. The same people said the fans were retarded and how the hell the same fans are allowed to make trouble to almost every away game!

I'm fine with the love/hate relationship toward's Italy/Azzurri , but not when people are being subjective. These guys should never have been allowed outside their country yesterday. If they weren't allowed in the stadium, they would have fucked up the streets. But somehow some people think that is ok and when the trouble makers aren't inside the stadium, all of the sudden the hooligan problem is solved. I just think that is a huge misconception.

The uppercut is just as hard as the one Anderlecht had after the Zagreb games.
Difficult to say. He may be worth it, but people should not think of him as a player destined to become great. Because that is far from certain. He has been criticized quite often in the past as well due to his attitude.
He's not the smartest player either, but that doesn't bother me all that much right now, considering his age & (lack of) experience.
He has the potential to become among the best, but he has to know talent alone won't bring him there, and Leekens tried to make that very clear the last two weeks, hope it worked.
