italia is playing like they had a decent sleep a week ago...anyway i'm enjoying brazil midfield..it is a pleasant game to watch. i hope camo will be left on the bench.
One of the worst things I've seen Brazil do thus far is spend about 5 minutes of "keep away" with lateral passes in midfield before getting bored with the Italians and deciding to push upfield.

Pirlo just played one of the worst halves of football I've seen in my life and it's fucking ridiculous that someone like Pepe is in this squad at the expense of Del Piero and Cassano.
Pilro has been an unqualified disaster.

And Cassano is needed like nobody's business out there.

Montolivo, Pepe, Di Natale and Gilardino were non-existent, De Rossi tried but was far from his best, Pirlo was terrible, and the Legro-Canna partnership is pretty pathetic. The only Italian that came out of that half with any credibility was Zambrotta.

Italy was prevented a 100% legit, awesome goal (Grosso). It was still 0-0, and we all know how Azzurri are when leading.

Amauri can have alot of contribution even though his team is under intense pressure as can be seen in the Catania match.
Gilardino has no clue out there ... He's so frustrating to watch.

Because he was given a lot of space to push forward and send 10 crosses of which 0 were good?

Did you see him getting owned by Robinho for the second goal and losing 2 balls where he mustn't have done that?

The problem with Gila is that he's often most successful cleaning up spills. Italy's attack hasn't creating anything forcing spill-over yet.
So Iaquinta will definitely posed more problem with him bashing in with his run as the Italy midfield is soul-less now
