His set pieces are awful these days. I don't know if it has something to do with the team's confidence or just him personally, but it's kind of getting worrying now.

Was a bit tired (third match in less than a week), but he's the main reason for the change we did and the fact we controlled the match after the goals we conceded. His touches in the midfield, the "Give and take" passes, opened the game and allowed us control. He always there when the attack stuck. Without him, lot of our attacks would have end with stupid long balls or just lost balls. Maybe it didn't look like that, but he's our match organizer (don't forget we got the corner that lead to the goal after a great pass by him).

*Bad FK. (One of them should have got us a penalty, oh well...).
He was nothing of what you're saying. Easily our worst player tonight together with Aquilani. Should have been subbed out at half time already.

I know its been a long time coming but and Iv realized it along time ago but I think Del Piero needs to start thinking about moving into management or taking someone time off to spend with the family. As The Cur said before me he is taking wayyyy to long to shoot. All his shots from the top of the 18 are getting blocked because he doesnt just release it like he use to, now its like 1 2 3 stutter steps then block. Even his set pieces are fading and his shooting power has long gone away which was really evident today. Del Piero I love you you'll always be the grande capitano of our bianconeri but at 37 this year I think its time to hang up the boots.

Basically.

The bold was so ridiculously untrue it leads me to believe someone didn't actually watch the game, or just decided to say "fuck it" and started making things up to cover a shit performance from DP.

Sometimes it lookes like he's slowing the play, while he actually holds the ball, control it, and that's good. Because when he didn't do it (vs. Napoli, for example, when DN wanted "pace"), we lost many balls and they killed us in counters.
No, he was pretty selfish tonight. Not that I don't mind him holding the ball to make a good pass but he got closed down quick and we still ended up losing the ball.
