There is absolutely no reason Del Neri to think that Del Piero had a great match yesterday. There must be something lost in translation.
There might be a reason to say that he had a great game, but to think that DP had a great game?
He might know a thing you don't. Isn't that enough?

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Juventus have opened negotiations with Alessandro Del Piero regarding a new contract, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

There has apparently been a meeting between the two parties and although the financial side of things wasn't discussed, the technical details of Del Piero's future were up for discussion.

La Gazzetta understands that a one-year rolling contract is likely to be on the table, as Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta is mindful of the long-term project.

It's no secret that Marotta had openly considered Del Piero's departure at the end of this season as part of his strategy for the club, but things have changed.

The 36-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic start to the season and has been practically ever present in Gigi Del Neri's side.

Nevertheless, Marotta and Del Neri are looking to reinforce the attack in the summer with one of Diego Forlan, Karim Benzema and Maxi Lopez.

The question is whether Del Piero would settle for a place on the bench in light of their arrival.

Del Piero has expressed his desire to play in Juventus' new stadium and the board of directors expect him to take a pay cut in order to stay at the club.

It remains to be seen whether he accepts Juventus' new terms amid interest from the MLS and the Bundesliga.

Btw, I think we should have some thread like "Never to forget" and post there the stuff we should always remember and make us laugh/smile, more like Juventuz best moments.

I think couple of members/pricks made the Del Piero sent Diego to Germany even more funny than expected.
