TORINO, 1 ottobre 2009 - Durante l’allenamento di stamattina a Vinovo, Ale Del Piero ha accusato un dolore acuto alla regione mediale della coscia sinistra. Il capitano della Juventus ha subito effettuato un’ecografia e una risonanza magnetica che hanno evidenziato una distrazione di 1°/2° grado del muscolo lungo-adduttore di sinistra. Si prevede uno stop di 30/40 giorni.

TIAGO — conseguenza della sfida europeadi ieri sera col Bayern è invece il porblema di Tiago. Il portoghese ha terminato la gara accusando un dolore acuto alla regione flessoria della coscia sinistra. Gli accertamenti strumentali (ecografia e risonanza magnetica) non hanno evidenziato la rottura di fibre muscolari, ma un’area di edema post-contusivo del muscolo bicipite femorale sinistro. La prognosi è di circa 20 giorni. Per il resto del gruppo, restano le indicazioni date al termine dell’allenamento della mattina. Cannavaro continua nella fase di recupero atletico e ha svolto parte della seduta con il gruppo. Così come Sissoko, che ha anche proseguito le cure fisioterapiche. Lavoro in palestra per Salihamidzic.

Del Piero out for a month
Thursday 1 October, 2009
Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero will be out for a month after suffering a 'distraction' to his left thigh muscle.

The 34-year-old felt an acute pain during training this morning and immediately went for a scan, which only confirmed the bad news.

Del Piero only just returned from injury and made his first appearance of the season as a second half substitute against Bologna on Sunday.

The club's doctors now expect Del Piero to spend between 30 and 40 days in the treatment room.

Tiago has a similar problem and will be out for two to three weeks.

Meanwhile, Fabio Cannavaro continues to train away from the rest of the group as he also tries to recover from a thigh injury.

Juventus are back in action this weekend when they travel to Palermo.
