I agree i still remember the away game vs real madrid, we were not that good, but Alex made the difference, fuck all defenders fear him no one fears Amauri, Lahm was just laughing at him... Del Piero was very much needed today. I really hope it was just him getting back to his full fitness rather than a recurrence of his injury.
Alongside Buffon, he is the most decisive player we have. Both of them are the most important reason we won games in the past 7 years (Del Piero goes to 15 ).

Hopefully with him back we will be unstoppable.

If he was playing for a draw (which he definitely was), his decision to bring on Poulsen was spot on. Even his decision to take Trez off instead of IQ was correct. He could have put on DP instead of Amauri though. DP could have done everything Amauri could (hold the ball) and some more too.

1 point is better than none. So an away draw to Bayern isn't as bad as some are making it out to be. Two wins against Maccabi and 3 points from the last two matches should comfortably see us through...

But what I'm saying is if we went there to play for a 0-0 (which I think we did), and we got a 0-0 then surely the performance was acceptable.
