Overall largely typical of what you might expect from preseason performance but we won cause bayern were limp in possession and Perin was very good when needed.

I wouldnt read much into it as usual
Perin looks very good indeed. Easily the best Italian keeper right now. Much more assured than Bidonerumma.

The guy was on it. Haven't felt that comfortable with a backup GK since Storari.

Easily our best of the new signings so far.

Can someone give me a quick recap of the match?
Really thought we were gonna concede in the first, they had plenty of chances but like we all knew ahead of time that Perin was quality, they didn't score. I also like Perin in how he distributes on goal kicks, we need to work on that though but he oozes confidence in long passing, its actually kinda cool to watch. If Mario was in, we would have had better possession in that sense.

Was a classic first preseason friendly...not much of a game plan or possession. We won, but could have easily lost 3-0 :D...seemed players were either dialed in (Sandro/Cancelo/Marchisio) or dialed out (rugani/bernie IMO).

Favilli is right footed but took two great left footed chances and scored...nearly had a hat trick if it wasn't for his first shot (finger tip save over the bar)...too early to fap but my hand is there, pants down and ready...plays well next match, will incorporate lotion.

Sandro looks like his first season again with his eagerness to go all out brazilian with his dribbling and taking players on, I like what I see and I hope that's a sign his confidence is maybe changing for the better. (not that he is leaving)
Cancelo...same...loves to dribble, going to be funny watching him and sandro. You could see it immediately he has confidence on the ball and ain't afraid of taking 1-2 players on at a time. Oh, can cross.

Can - couple nice challenges, decent distribution...other than that, meh...went off 2 minutes before HT. Injury or precaution, don't know.

Pinsoglio - world class triple back up.

Bernie - does better now with a defender on his back but wasn't all that impressive IMO...legs are fresh it seems.

Most importantly...Marchisio. Looking fresh, got an assist and his passing is still quality. So quick releasing the ball one time or after a touch or two...seemed to be pushing further up late in the first half.
