Hypocrites, expose yourself (1 Viewer)

CL spot, YOU prefer?

  • Inter, I want the best thing for this league and Juve

  • Bayern, I can't support Inter and I want them to "choke"

  • I hate Inter. Stolen Scudetti, not a single Italian player, and I'll support anyone that plays again

  • You mean the Champions League has still been going on since December?

Meh.

They are okay (since there isn't any other football on at the time), but I can't say I'm hugely looking forward to the World Cup this summer.

There are so many shit teams allowed in that there are very few games between countries who have good teams.

How is the makeup of this World Cup any different than past World Cups?

All the major players are there, all the major teams.

What does one want?

I hate that the World Cup is in South Africa. Last one in Germany was so awesome and the Conf Cup sucked big time with the Vuvuzelas and the sucky stadiums.

Yep, not to mention the crappy timetables. Games at 13h30 on weekdays? Who came up with that brilliant idea?

:agree:

That's simply ridiculous, as most people in Europe simply can't watch. I can't believe that.

Oh man, I almost forgot about those damn horns they use aswell.

I made a agreement with my department that we will watch it on 2 big screens during work time, because basicly everybody wants to see it and will stream it.
Will be fun:)

Sounds like fun. Sadly, something like that won't happen here. When I go to the office, it is to get some actual work done.

Well, most of the time at least :D

I hate to say it but I agree. Germany was a fantastic place to hold the WC but South Africa just doesn't compare.

I don't feel that different to what I did for previous tournaments.

All the major players are there, all the major teams.

I've said before I want less shit teams at the World Cup, but I don't want to turn this thread into a debate on that.

I like the World Cup in so much as it is an important tournament and provides a spectacle at times, but high quality, interesting games in them tend to be pretty few and far between.
