Wow, you sound surprised.
Well... the Ultras are at the stadium every match, defend Juventus on the streets and many are actual residents of Torino. What more do you want? Facts are facts and despite some of them being uneducated and ruthless, they are the closest thing to a "true supporter." I mean, if we have to stoop so low and designate which entities are "true supporters," it would be idiotic to exclude them just because they boo players and cause havoc on streets in the name of Juventus. Sorry, snoop, but booing players is part of the game and if it's valid criticism, I welcome it. I find it far more true than sitting in the stands, bobbing your head from side to side saying, "yaaaaaaay, go Juve, we are the best of the best. Juve is the greatest team ever, yaaaaaaay. I love you Capello even though you shit on our side." That sort of shit is simply retarded.
But this doesn't mean others around the world are not "true fans." However, you can't waltz around stating the thugs in the Curva are not "true fans" when you rarely go to matches. It simply doesn't make any sense and it's not helping our cause here. No matter what, Ultras are an integral facet of the mystique of Italian football, whether people like it or not. Without them, the stadiums would be dead... literally. We cannot sit here and say others from around the world are more of "true supporters" than they are, unless they have such a commanding knowledge about Juventus that they own that of supporters in the Curva. I would place money on Padovano knowing far more than some of those people.
Robert is the man.
