How do you guys warm up?
Bike 20mins at a good speed to the gym

If the first excercise is a squatvariant, do 5 squats without a bar and on the 5th stay down and stretch all tendons by forcing my knees out for 30 seconds. then do 10 squats at high speed with only the bar

If the first excercise is deadliftvariant, stretch the hamstrings 3x30sec, then do 20 speedreps with 70kg, 15 with 100kg and start

if the first excercise is a benchpressvariant, do 50 reps with only the bar, no arching and legs relaxed, focus on speed from the 20th till 50th rep. (this is an excellent way to get the rotator cuffs full with blood and heat).

You reckon? I was always told to stretch muscles before working out to avoid injury or strain :boh:

More so for cardio rather then when I do weights.

warm up and stretching are 2 distinct things, i think you should warm up a bit before working out yes but no way should you stretch before imo
good to know :yup:

My weight loss is going pretty well, 7.5 pounds lost in 2 & 1/2 weeks. Wanna lose an additional 6-7 pounds in the couple of weeks so I've cut out all carbs at this point.

And I love me some carbs.

Dont cut out all carbs. Your metabolism will slow down, yo'll feel energyless and lethargic.

Try to place carbs at breakfast and noon and only eat complex carbs.

examples?

cutting out bread was tough at the start but now I don't miss it at all.

In the past week I've stopped with rice altogether, dinner is just composed of either fish/chicken and mixed vegetables.

Once you start thinking of food as fuel and not a comfort it becomes much easier.

I'm gonna disagree with you there, my man. Veggies are incredible. Boost up your immune system, give you all the nutrients you won't get from chicken, etc.

Vitamins proven to have an effect on the immume system, and the source

A : eggs, milk, meat
B(complex) : eggs, whey
C : fruit, supplement
D : milk, swiss cheese
E : olive oil, eggs
K : mostly supplement

Only 2 vitamins arent found in the daily strength athlete's diet , wich are vitamin C and vitamin K. Those two arent found in vegetables eighter. Preferably these are supplemented.

The ONLY advantage of vegetables are polyfenols. But the affectiveness of those is debatable

so is water and cardio :p

id say veggies and fruits are good for the immune system, which ultimately helps you get bigger/stronger
Cardio is neccecary for bodybuilders on the cut.

For everyone else, if you need cardio, you are to lazy during training.
