True. You just do so much more on game day. Haven't measured my BF in a while now, but it definitely hasn't gone up and it was 8% last time. I agree with you, alcohol, beer especially makes it difficult. But there's a difference between beers too. For example, a beer after a workout can actually be helpful in building muscle. This doesn't really hold true for your average pint though, but it is true in case you drink dark, brown beers. Which happen to be excellent in Belgium :D.
Out of curiosity, how does that work?

Yeah, well your cardio is intensive :agree: I said a rough number, but yeah, I thought it'd be under 10% but still a 6 pack/bottom pack should become visible at 7%

Casual drinking won't affect you much but yet again, imagine someone who does less cardio and has 90kg for example. It all goes in his belly and it's really not possible to see good results. Hm, so I should move to Belgium. :D

It's called a caliper and one of the better way to calculate your body fat. :D

Where can you even buy that?

They have it in my gym. Probably, every boxing/bb store has it too.

I see, cool.

Did you measure yours?

And as for cardio. Running raises your heart beat to 130, swimming 135 while cycling uphill gets it up to 145.

Jumping rope is 140  I had no idea it was that good.

Nah, I measured only with online calcs. I'm interested in shredding just yet but I'm around 15% probably.

Shredding  Btw my abs aren't much better than last year. Results are there but not good at all. I've come at my best with all the food I eat and no cardio. My stomach is flat but it's far from great. I think I'm around 10% so that's it, it can't get any better with how I'm doing it. Now to get it all perfectly I have to add cardio and cut sugar. At 7-8% it would be much better but I don't think I have balls to take to another level.

I doubt you're over 12% V. I really doubt it.

Can someone tell me how to get fit by running on the treadmill? Fitness + consistency has always been the biggest problem my whole life..i hate being unfit but i just don't know what to do..can someone write a schedule for me? I'm 16 btw, and willing to donate some vCash :)

Cheers, Ash.

I'm certainly at about 15%, could be a percent lower or higher. I really eat a lot of crap and do no cardio, plus my ab workout is like 5-7 minutes 3 times a week. :p

You're young, no need to make a philosophy about it. Go running for 30-45 minutes each morning or evening and results will come after a few months.

Running on a treadmill isn't the best option IMO. It tends to alter your running mechanics. Perhaps you could do incline running on a treadmill, which is a little bit better, but I'd just get outdoors. As for a schedule.. there are lots of options on the net, what is it you're after?

Funnily enough, running on the treadmill is used to help my feet adapt to running on uneven surfaces.

Ash: you'd be much better off doing high intensity cardio with free weights etc if you're in the gym, the road is much better for running, sand is even better.

For normal people the problem with running on a treadmill is that it allows you to focus on vertical movement, when you should be focussing on horizontal movement. In turn this means you're going to stress the quadriceps and neglect the hamstrings and glutes.
