i gotta say guys, i kinda agree with seven to an extent, while it's one thing to have protein shakes and a bit of creatine, which for me is fine, some of these products seem a little........much, i mean your hands shaking for hours after? that's not good imo, some come with strange side effects, i've known some guys who took a product called norateen by LA Muscle, dodgy stuff to say the least

High doses of caffeine would likely have the same effect. There are lots of things that are likely to fiddle with your heart rate.

If you want to test out all these supplements, at least know a thing or two about them. Doctors will generally advise against high doses of caffeine. It's on the doping list as well. And, as you know, a substance is only placed on that list if it's considered unhealthy. Not to mention that when people have heart rythm issues, they are to stop consuming caffeine immediately.

Read up on these matters before you make a moronic analogy you thought would help you.

You re the moron, the doping list is there primarily to eliminate an unfair advantage
Not quite. The drugs on there have to meet three criteria. One of those criteria is that they are bad for your health. And the doping list was not my main point and you know that very well. Caffeine in high doses is not good for you: that's my point. You say I'm a sophist, but you do just the same thing.

the doping list has nothing to do with health if that was the case they'd ban cigarettes or alcohol and such, if you had restrained from calling people morons i wouldnt even interfere; just for once say i dont know and move on.

If you want people to believe you're an intellectual, you have to show them that you're able to read. It is one of THREE criteria. To be on the doping list a drug has to meet ALL THREE criteria. Jesus fuck.

And, although it wasn't the point (which was that caffeine in high doses is bad for you), it makes sense that only drugs that harm you are on the doping list.

Relax, you lost an argument. You didn't know why products are on the doping list. It can happen to anybody. No worries.

And it's a phase, it'll pass as you get older.

We both know what your anger towards me is really about anyway. It's not about anything in this thread. You know perfectly well that one shouldn't take supplements that alter your heart rythm, elevate your blood pressure or make your hands shake for hours. Anyone claiming anything else is a moron and you know that.

You're angry with me because I don't buy your entire story. You can call yourself Antares, you can speak French and you can read a million books, but I see you for what you are: an intellectual fraud.

You conveniently didn't answer my point, I see.

Let me phrase it again:

caffeine in high doses is bad for you.
