But Pandev's from Macedonia. Do you think Macedonians can play football?
Actually, those who watched Darko Pancev in the past will say that Macedonians can play football.

I don't know if you know Pancev's story but it's a good info for Turk to know what did Inter do to Pancev.
Darko Pancev was a goal machine. An improved version of Pippo Inzaghi. He was banging more goals than anyone else. His goal ratio was ~1 goal per match. He was doing it in the league, in Europe and for the national team.
Golden ball winner, Champions League (Cup) winner, ballon d'or 2nd place.... world's best attacker after Van Basten in his time.
Granted, he had a midfield consisted of Savicevic, Jugovic, Prosinecki and Mihajlovic (Sinisa Mihajlovic was a winger back in those days, and a damn good one), but the goal record was still unbelievable.

Every single team in Europe was after him and they all offered crazy money to get him. Juve were also offering crazy money, and so were Barca, Real, Atletico, Milan etc.
In order to buy him Inter offered him the highest salary in the world. He was the highest paid player when he signed for Inter.
The moment he signed, the very same day, Inter started blackmailing him. Accept a big pay-cut, sign a new contract or you won't play. He didn't want to do it and Inter didn't play him at all. For 3 or 4 years he was allowed to play only in Coppa Italia.

That earned him the "worst transfer of the 20th century" award.

Inter

Quag: 8 goals in UEFA CUP. 2 goals in representation.
Pandev: 4 goals in Coppa Italia. 2 goals in representation.

Ok.

Assist:
Quag: 5
Pandev: 4
Cassano: 11

Well then, add the number of games played by Quag, because it's way more then 34 if you count Uefa Cup and rep. You're making it seem like he's a Trez-like scorer.

i still don't get for what we need pandev quag or lavezzi. this shows just how stupid our management is. fuck we have trez iq amarui and dp! just keep them wtf... amauri and iq at a perfect age. trez and dp might be a bit to old but we still have gio.
we don't need new strikers..............how stupid must this mangement be getting a 36 old cannavaro and no other defenders but getting 345235324 avarege strikers. come on
Get a rightback a leftback and a centreback with diego and hamsik/alosno or so

and no lavezzi and pandev are not avarege ok quag is but still we don't need them they aren't any better than what we got. we must put the money in the defence!!!!!!!!!! we can have all strikers in the world and we will still lose all of our games if we keep on playing with grygera and molinaro and a 50 year old canna

Still, he scored 20 and gave 5 assists in 45 matches in Serie A and UEFA Cup this season.
Not a bad ratio I'd say. And he's heavily underrated here for sure.

Di Natale's ratio is even better i think. Di Natale isn't playing for how long now? 2 months?
And still he has the same number of goals in serie A with Quagliarella, more in the NT and i don't know about the UEFA Cup.

If we want a goal machine in our team then none of the mentioned players are good enough to replace Trez. They certainly aren't better than Ale, Amauri and Iaquinta either, so i don't see why are we even linked with them.

Seriously, which position in our team will be imporved if we buy Quagliarella?

LOL

quag: 33 played - 22 goals

pandev: 46 played - 16 goals

Pandev played 13 more matches, so a and has 6 goals less than Quagliarella. And then there is less assistance. This is what he actually knows how?

QUAGLIARELLA >>>>>>>> pandev - in every aspect

Are you stupid or you're pretending to be stupid?

How could Quagliarella play 33 matches and score 22 goals when only in serie A he played on 34 matches and he scored only 12 goals?

My point is that we're overloaded with quality attackers, in addition, Amauri and Iaquinta ask for a pay rise, that is why we should find a solution to spend less (wage-wise) for attack and balance expences with other formations, defence mainly. We don't need a Benzema to replace Trez, because Amauri is the one to replace him, therefore Quagliarella is a good choice to be a bench player, because he would earn about twice less than Trez and won't have a problem with being a backup. And still, he's good. It don't need to be Quagliarella, I am not a big fan of him, but even a Floccari would do well for such a backup role of fourth-choice striker.

Are you stupid or you're pretending to be stupid?

HE PLAYED 22 MATCHES IN SERIE A. YOU UNDERSTAND THIS? 22 ! YES! And he scored 12 goals.

IN UEFA CUP, QUAG PLAYED 9 MATCHES AND SCORED 8 GOALS.

IN European Championship Qualifying he played 2 matches and scored 2 goals.

2+9+22=33

+ one played in World Cup Qualifying - UEFA and no scored in this match.

You understand this simple maths?

OMG

He played 34 matches in serie A. He STARTED 22 matches, but he also came as a sub on 12 matches, which means that he played 34 matches.

Are we now going to stop counting the matches where he came as a sub?

You're gonna teach me maths?

OMG

edIT: In UEFA Cup he scored 8 goals on 11 matches, not 8 on 9. He started 9 matches and came as a sub on 2 matches.

In Coppa Italia he played 1 match and scored 0 goals (he also got a red card)

For Italy he scored 0 goals on 3 qualifying matches.

Either Pandev or Quagliarella would be great. I like them both. If you assume that Del Piero will be poor next season, go for Pandev. He's brilliant, not extremely consistent, but it'll do. If you think Del Piero will be okay next season, Quag's the better option. Can score wonder goals, but will suck donkey balls a week later.

I of course remember Pancev. I loved the guy, he was unbelievable player.
