Hi Guys,

Arsenal Fan here (from Lithuania - as bizarre as it sounds)

I was reading your forum hoping to get a confirmation from your (from your sources) that he is coming to us (hopefully anyway), since there is not news much coming from the UK. Most of the media just recycling old quotes and it seems that not much has changed since "Hig" said he wants to leave RM.

Just a friendly question, which would you prefer, Higuain or Tevez?

P.S After reading a few pages I stumbled upon a few Juventus supporters who seems to possess a "hatred" towards Arsenal. Quite frankly, looking from where I am, I don't think it's deserved. We have gone through a transitional period, during which built a stadium from our own money (rarity nowadays), which consequently squeezed our finances and left us "trophyless" for a long period. But, crucially, we did it, and now (I hope) we should be back where we belong (competing for a titles). Hence, I do not understand such a negativity towards a club which attempts to compete "fair" terms, rather than some "sugardaddy's" investment.

Regards,
Arsenal Fan

Why have you put trophyless in quotation marks?

Are you disputing that Arsenal haven't won anything for quite a while?

And I think Juve are better off signing a SS rather than a CF, as that would fit better with Llorente.

well, I am not disputing that we haven't won anything for 8 years (now). Just imagine a period where you try to build something from your own resources and then you have an emergence of clubs (from nowhere) which spend £100 million + every year on transfers alone. Did it ever happened in Serie A?

Llorente is a good squad player. He was linked with was last season (I believe). Back to your SS point, I believe that you would be better off with Tevez (I think he had enough of English weather).

I rate Llorente rather higher than just being a good squad player.

Yeah, I think Juve are better off with either Tevez or Jovetic than Higuain.

Rookis B you hit the nail right on th head with the undeserved hatred towards us best iv seen it put in a long time
Are there any fans out there who believe their team deserves to be hated?

I bet almost none of the Juve fans round here think Juve deserve to be hated, even though they do.

Most of Arsenal fans (i know) rate Tevez highly, it just his attitude which gets his way...

Certainly, they don't. I was just surprised to see that a supporters of team from other country would hate my team, considering the fact that we had a very few encounters so far (2-3 from what I can remember)

Its mostly a hate for the Epl i would say... The half knownledge (ignorance) about Serie a , calicopoli and Co did no good here

So we lost another striker?? Wow i'm speechless... One Down 2 to fail....

We should make a Bet about who we fail to sign first : tevez or jojo
Its not over until its confirmed officially. I remember a couple of years ago Juan Mata according to media was "done and dusted" but we all know where he ended up...

I know i know but i Never belived that we will sign him or any other expansive striker... To be honest i really dont care about that anymore. After marotta mentioned his and jojo's Name i knew neither of them will be signed ;)

"Arsenal agree to terms with player, executives travel to madrid to hammer out transfer."

Where have I seen this before? I'll believe it when there is confirmation from both clubs. Assuming that line from Beppe (about madrid waiting for a coach before signing off transfers) is true, then it's just speculation at this point.

I am resigned to losing out on Higuain however. We can't compete with those wages if true.
