You have convinced me.
Juventus director Beppe Marotta confirms talks with Real Madrid for Gonzalo Higuain are blocked “until they have a new Coach.”

Marotta and President Andrea Agnelli had a lunch meeting with Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez and FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti this afternoon in the Spanish capital.

“Right now Higuain is not on the transfer market, as Real Madrid are waiting until they have a new Coach,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“The moment this decision is made official, then we will meet them again with pleasure.”

Meanwhile, there are reports that Real Madrid are willing to spread the payment over several instalments, but that the €22m offer was too low.

Arsenal are said to have proposed €24m for the Argentina striker.

Real are without a tactician since parting company with Jose Mourinho, as first choice Carlo Ancelotti is struggling to break free of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

.........

Now will you please stay quiet ?

Better chance of Higuain going to City than Arsenal IMO. Pelligrini now holds the trump card coz City will offer him more money, will offer Madrid more money and he'll have a coach who knows him well. Very clear factors that they could well be ahead if they decide to go for it.

Yeah but it was known for a while now. It was obvious he'd go to City and go for Higuain. We had some time to get Higuain but now City is going to buy him imo. Jovetic seems the only realistic option for us right now (if Gomez to Viola rumors are true) .

As reported before, Juve and Higuain have agreed on preliminary contract. If this is true, Juve still have a chance in signing him, just wait until Real have new coach.
What is the day Juve resume practicing for the new season everyone?

Preliminary contracts mean very little in light of a better, bigger contract term and transfer fee. We begin preseason on 12th July.

There's nothing in this that suggested they met to talk about him. It's just your typical talk you hear all the time, similar to "He's a great player but he's not on the market right now. Of course we would love to add him to our team, but we don't know what will happen". The only reason people are taking it so seriously is because it happened after the Juve-Real legends game, when in fact there's just as much of a possibility that they only met for the game and talked about Higuain for 1 minute:

"hey want to sell Higuain?"
"No sorry, we're waiting for new coach first"
"ah kk, I will call you later".

Of course you are free to believe whatever you want just don't get a heart attack when we end up with Floro Flores on 2nd September.

Am i saying higuain was a topic of discussion when both met ? Yes ,clearly.he even goes on to say we'll meet them again when they hire a new coach.
Stay quiet little cat.

If anything this article suggest he wasn't a topic of discussion because they need to have a new coach first. But people will see what they want to see, sport fans especially.

I really hope you are right and we are in serious talks about Higuain but I can't see it happening.
