Since we are on the verge of repeating a RVP, why we do not promote Gabbiadini as our top striker and start working on it? :)

Look at the bright side!. it will eb a cheap option :D

Still Tevez would be good and all but he should not be our first choice by any means. It would just postpone the problem of finding a successor for Del Piero with a year or 2...

tbh i think its a BS excuse for anyone to justify not wanting a player because their goalscoring record in Europe is not that impressive, yet failing to highlight what actually matters and that is his over all quality as a player which is undeniable. The examples of Matri and Quagliarella i used highlights the flaw in that argument
I have to agree with @Badass Vidal, it makes no sense to judge him just by his appearances in the CL. In general, the last cant be described his best season, but his relationship with Mancini has still been tense. However, towards the end his form seems to have declined even further. That makes me suspicious.

That was one the many arguements. Fact that only one gets picked out means there's probably no denying the others and Tevez is not te ideal attacker for us. He's a good fit in terms of quality and playing style but as a person and from a business point of view it's a horrible deal.

Finding a Del Piero replacement in itself is not important but that is exactly the type of player our team is crying out for. A free flowing attacker, a young man who can decelop himself at Juve and play for us with continuity for many years. If it wasn't for Jovetic' injuries he'd be perfect.

what is horrible about the Tevez deal from a business point of view?

if you think about it his transfer fee is relatively minimal due to his contract being in the last year, his wages may be more than the other 2 options, but from a financial aspect but they pretty much equal to the same amount on both transfer fee and wages combined.

It would upset our entire salary ladder unless he'd be willing to accept 4,5 mil a season, which is very very very very unlikely. Is this even a serious question ? Everyone had to take paycuts to fit into our salary cap, if someone will earn 6mil + bonusses all of a sudden, there will immediately be a few frowning faces on Marotta's doorstep and many will demand a pay raise...

Di Marzio says that PSG wants to activate Villas-Boas' 10M clause.

Would mean that Ancelotti is going to RM and they have a coach.
