But is that better than Insigne, Hamsik, and Cavani?
Maybe not, but that's because Cavani is one of the best, if not the best, striker around.

They were bound to lose him sooner or later and Higuain will represent a good replacement. I believe he'll hit 20 goals in Serie A, which will be a big deal.

Not to mention they have more depth now with Mertens, Rafael/Reina, Albiol. I'm not fan of those transfers but they bought decent players for Cavani's cash. It depends a lot on Benitez's system, but their team is very strong at this point (eventhough they could've done better without Benitez and his retarded signings).

We're gonna have a tough competition this season for sure.
Still wouldn't expect them to be able to keep up with Juve, but it is a very good team they are putting together:

??????

Maggio-Albiol-Cannavaro-??????

Inler-Behrami

Callejon-Hamsik-Insigne

Higuain

Be interesting to see what they come up with in the rest of the summer to fill the gaps.

3 is bonuses, the 6 is his salary...
Sometimes risk need to be taken if you need to make that extra step especially for a small club such as theirs who are aspiring to be one of the top clubs in Italian football.Even if it goes entirely bad for them ,they can still sell him for atleast 70-80% of what they bought him for.
1) thats actually how clubs go bankrupt

2)Remember that bloke amauri that we couldnt sell cause of his wage ? that was 4 mil. Higuain is 6 mil.

Higuain as a lone striker... hamsic isnt good enough to support that.
They should get fabregas

THAT would make me seriously scared

It's gonna be a race of who collects more points against midtable teams. Both Juve and Napoli are in CL, so tiredness will do it's job.

I think Juve has the strongest team, but I can't say we're gonna win it next season for sure. I hope we'll have the same motivation, because Napoli won't drop many points IMO. It's gonna be a very strong and tougher season I think. Many points will be dropped against teams like Lazio, Roma, Napoli, Fiorentina and Inter/Milan.

I would've been far more concerned and worried had Napoli acquired Ibra. As it stands, and even if they indeed complete the deal for Higuain, Hamsik is and will remain their most important and influential player.

I am just glad they didn't get someone like Ibra or Suarez. Higuain is a level below those guys and they seriously overpaid for him.

Actually, I'd expect it to play a bit more like 4-3-3 than 4-2-3-1, so it'd be Callejon and Insigne I'd be looking to to provide close support to Higuain to make sure he isn't left isolated.

1.They are not in any kind of deep debts. They have been posting profits for the post couple of years.

2.Again you dont get the point. If it goes entirely bad for them, they can still sell him for a high amount.Possibilities of higuain flopping at Napoli is extremely low atm.

And comparing Higuain to Amauri. For a Higuain fanboy this is really unexpected.
