Their frontline was better last season though. Lol. And even better in 2011/2012 with Lavezzi in it. :)

But they will have a better keeper this time around. Still need a LB...and Maggio is cack at RB. Just horrible defensively.

1.They are not in any kind of deep debts. They have been posting profits for the post couple of years.

2.Again you dont get the point. If it goes entirely bad for them, they can still sell him for a high amount.Possibilities of higuain flopping at Napoli is extremely low atm.

And comparing Higuain to Amauri. For a Higuain fanboy this is really unexpected.
You seemb to be lacking quite a bit here, so stop calling out.

Its not about debts, its about the wagebill and general expenses. Why didnt juve do what napoli now did ? Cause if things go wrong, and they dont qualify for CL (wich is a good possibiility since 3 other teams that can suddenly pull a mercato, they'll be stuck with that big wage, and a debt can come very fast.
Before, napoli werent having that high expenses really, but now, that wage bill could come back and bite them in the ass.

Your logical fallacy is strawman. I did not compare Higuain and amauri in therms of quality, but purely based on their contract.

6mil Higuain, isnt just gonna get sold if they need to. THE big issue, is getting a team to pay those wages. it wont happen if he doesnt succeed.

Because Juve dint sell anybody, lack of liquid cash.Napoli did and they're looking to bring in a very good replacement.

I think you need to stop talking like you know it all because there's actually little chance that Higuain is going to falter in Serie A.They're paying for quality even if its a bit overpayed i think its a risk worth taking because no other top striker was available on the market.

And what do you know of Napoli's finances ? Have you went there attended board meetings ? or have you even checked their balance sheet or something ? Get off your high horse dude.Their wage bill right now stands at less than 70m and i read a rumor that Napoli were willing to pay 8m for Cavani to convince him to stay but PSG offered more and he went there.
Higuain is a top striker and if they found someone worth paying that wage you are damn sure they would and Higuain is that guy. They have generally been a very well run club even though they're still dependant on CL football for their growth ,there's absolutely no way they're going to go bankrupt or something with this one big move.Take this nonsense out of here because in reality you really know nothing and there are people at the Napoli board who know a thing or two about finances.

Suarez available at around the same price, Rooney also dying to leave Man U for 15 mil less. If they could tempt Gonzalo, I'm sure with enough money, they can tempt any of these players especially with Falcao moving to newly promoted Monaco. Calling what they paid for Higuain an overpayment is generous, they gave Real 10 million more than they should have, plain and simple. Not to mention, a salary 2 million more than Juve was reportedly handing Vidal who has been a top, if not THE top, midfielder in Europe over the past 2 years. Higuain has been sitting on a bench for 50% of that same time...

Suarez is valued at 50m pounds by Liverpool

Higuain is still 25.For me he hasnt even reached his prime yet.In 2 years ,watch him jump ship and Napoli selling him for a big amount.

If they can't afford Higuain how the $#@! are they gonna sign Suarez? Luisito will only leave for Real Madrid IMO.
Was talking about Napoli, not Juve...and with the supposed 125m they have to invest into their team, they would have no problem signing either of the 2...

It's entirely possible, but I just think Higuain is too one-dimensional of a player to exceed the value that he's at right now. He's a top class finisher but not really much else. I don't really think he's the type of player that can change a game when you really need it. Cavani was the type of guy that could take the ball from anywhere on the field, dribble past guys or even unleash a shot from 30 yards and smash the corner of the net. Gonzalo is effectively useless outside of the 18 and in games where Insigne/Hamsik/Mertens are ineffective, I doubt Gonzalo is gonna be able to carry the team on his back like Cavani was doing for the last 2 seasons.

They probably were looking at a clinical traditional CF who would bang in goals at will ,i mean they were looking for a striker in the same mold as Cavani ,while Suarez is an awesome player in his own right i wouldnt think he would've worked that well as a lone striker.

And Napoli are paying 31.7m in pounds for higuain while Liverpool are looking at around 50m pounds for Suarez.Big difference right there.

It will take a while for Napoli's team to gel as well I think, especially with a new coach. These players have been playing in a particular system for ages, it will take a bit to adapt. They will pose the biggest threat to us, along with Fiorentina I reckon, I still think Fiorentina might have an edge, they have quite a balanced team. It will be interesting. It would be great to see Milan and Inter miss out on the top 3 spots. Puts a bit of pressure on teams like Lazio and Roma, they will need to get some re-enforcements to contend. It should be a really interesting season, once again Napoli will have to deal with depth issues with the CL, Fiorentina with the Europa league, which I doubt the will neglect.

Napoli is still really incomplete as Behrami is clearly not the answer to guys like Vidal, Cambiasso, De Rossi, etc. Not to mention their backline is absolute rubbish. Maggio has the defensive capabilities of a 1-legged man, Cannavaro is inconsistent and Albiol is about as good as Campagnaro was...which isn't very good at all. Zuniga is probably the best player in their back 4 and that's if they keep him.

Behrami was excellent in the second half of last season.

Clearly doesn't have the talent of those other players, but he is a very effective ball winner.

He's got the ability to run all over the field, that i'll give you. But his decision making can be absoutely awful at times and he has lapses in concentration that cost them. Then again, it's not like Dzemaili is really much of a contender to take the spot away from him. Any chance they'll be using Gargano in that spot again this season? I actually thought he was really good there for Nap before they loaned him to Inter and he stunk..

Rooney will cost more than 40mln and is going to earn around 10mln net at Chelsea.

Stop with the BS.
