Thuram, Zambrotta or Nedved should be the captain. Cannavaro and Emerson would make great skippers as well but they haven't been here long enough yet. The captain should be someone who has a positive effect on the team more often than not and leads with his performances. Should the captain's armband be worn by an inconsistent choker? I remember the match against Roma,when alex injured,Montero named as our captain.you know..Montero.one of our worst players at that season.

SOLELY taking into consideration number of games played is no basis for deciding captaincy, especially at this level. Players who are great leaders, inspire the troops and talk a lot on the pitch are captain material

Exactly Tom. Del Piero is not even that vocal on the pitch, and never was. Once Trezeguet comes back, Alex will not be seeing too many minutes, so the Armband will go to somebody who deserves to wear it.

DP deserves to be our captain ... he palyed for juve more than anyone else... he is juve's top scorer ... he is the second captain for italia's national team .... so why cant he be a captain .... he might be getting subed often these days but it happens to every player .... u gotta know guys that DP is the spirit of the team... a captain doent necesseraly be the best on the pitch ...a captain must have a strong personalty, experiance , and love for the club ... neddy, zamb, and thuram might be the best in juve but that doesnt mean they've got the three points above ...
