Juve to sign Rossi tomorrow?

According to reports from Italy, Juventus could complete their capture of Giuseppe Rossi on Wednesday.

Studio Sport claims the negotiations with Villarreal are down to the final details and are set to be whittled down tomorrow.

It’s believed the deal was struck for €25m plus another €4m in performance-related bonuses.

The reports of an imminent transfer are boosted by news Rossi won’t play in tonight’s friendly against Aberdeen.

He is also left off the list of players heading to China for a summer tour.

The price-tag is considerably lower than the original €30m quoted by Villarreal, although with bonuses it does come very close.

We can guarantee them that we're going to buy to make this team better just like Milan promised Zlatan. You think Zlatan would have accepted Milan if it wasn't for the fact that they promised him a real project(real project, not a Juve type of project) Also we can offer them the name and what the club represents in Italy and Europe.

What should we do? Should we just give up?
You cannot compare Zlatan's situation to this though. Zlatan was involved in very public rows with Guardiola and was languishing on the bench in Barcelona. And Milan finished 3rd the year before he got there, with a better squad than what juventus had the year previous, and CHampions League football to boot. All in a league where he had already established himself as a dominant force.

This is not the same situation as Nani and Ribery.

And of course they shouldn't give up.

But it is going to be very very difficult to land players that are currently on prestigious teams who are in the CL, or young players who have the CL in their sights and want it immediately. Its a harsh reality, but it's the truth.

So Dadi-SK laughs at Rossi's 32 goals scored last year and laughs at the spanish defenses.

ManCity was in our position once Serge. They opened their pockets, and attracted the very people we waste our semen on. Fact is, we got to be clear about our goals. Unfortunately, we're compromising our situation by having people run a club at a level they don't belong. With our spend plan this year, we could and should have had a guy like Aguero before anyone got in the game. We didn't because we didn't want to participate in bidding wars thereafter. Our problems are, a lack of focus combined with incompetence.

It is what it is man. Bayern managed to convince Ribery to join them at a bad time without CL football or anything. Thats why you have a good sporting director. If you don't have the money you could at least get yourself a good sporting director who's smart. Too bad we have a clown running the show.

from what the 70 mil we have...cmon
AC we're on the verge of spending 30m in a position that doesn't deserve it. Imagine not spending that money and using it as wages for a player of Zlatan's stature. Just think about where the needless spending leads us. We're not bettering our position anymore just by spending an x amount of money. Its ho we're spending it. There are a lot of players at the very top level who would put money before all else. If we were intelligent, we would make sacrifices to get them, so the trade off allowed us to climb those charts again when we can make deals on our terms again.
