So 2 years ago means 12 months? You have a very strange notion of time.
Let's not, and how does that speak in his favor exactly? I'm not really out to bash Amauri, but the attitude towards Trez that lots of people are expressing here disgusts me. He's been with us longer than Nedved, and yet Nedved gets the farewell of a hero at his retirement while Trez is being shoved out the back door? And then people have the audacity to complain about the lack of loyalty players have to their clubs.
Yes, Cannavaro is the disgusting traitor. But let's ditch Trez without thinking twice.
Two seasons ago, there, you happy?
It's irrelevant. You don't have to be at a great club to be considered a great talent. Look at players like Cassano, David Villa etc..
Let's cut this sentimental bullshit. I don't hate Trez, I wouldn't be a Juve fan if I did. I'm just being realistic here. The guy earns 9 M per year, and he's perobably going to be a sub. He's 32 years old now and he's no getting any younger. Iaquinta is just as productive as him right now and even has that little extra drive that Trez lacks.
I think it would be for both Trez's and Juve's best interest to part.
Trez would join Villareal, he would get regular playing time. He would be playing under less pressure against less defensive teams. He would be much happier.
Juve would be able to buy G.Rossi, Italy's brightest young talent. We would be able to cut our wages drastically in the coming years with Trez gone. And a team consisting of Amauri, Rossi, Del piero, Diego, Camoranesi, Giovinco is just mouthwatering to say the least. We would probably have the most creative squad in Italy.
Who would have thought it?
