Sure. That's exactly what I meant.

On a serious note Pirlo was more important player for us last year, arguably had better season than Chilean, but the amount of slack he was getting week in week out, makes it funny to read the same folks considering him indispensable and difficult to replace. Pretty sure someone even mentioned Storrari as a big blow. Mass hysteria has taken over and you played no small part in it. Current team looks weaker, at least on paper, but still looks like clear Scudetto favorites and capable of making decent CL run (CL QFs).
Prove it or shut it!

I never said Pirlo is indispensable, never said anyone is for the matter. Pirlo though was a key player in the squad, just like Tevez and Vidal.

To be fair to those people, Vidal was not having a good season. It wasn't until close to the end of it that he started performing as his old self again.
Why be fair to those people? They're the same ones who said we were never going to do well in Europe after the Olympiacos game. They're the same ones who lambasted Pirlo all season and now think he's a major loss. They're the same ones who lambaste any player of ours mercilessly whenever they drop into even the smallest run of poor form. They're the same ones who said we might not even make the CL places after Conte left. They're the same ones who lambasted Conte previous to that for being a European pussy and too stubborn to learn. They're the same one's who freak out every mercato about us not getting a "world class" player.

We've won 4 straight scudetti. We just played in a CL final. We won Serie A by 17 points each of the last 2 years. And now these people are suggesting we're "back to the bottom" again, back to Del Neri-Ferrara years, we'll be lucky to finish in CL places, we won't make it out of group stage, Marotta is a bumbling fool, and so on.

They don't deserve fair.

I'm engaging in a little hyperbole... but it's basically the gist of it. People acting like this mercato is some kind of disaster, and we're now a selling club for the forseeable future, and will sell our best players for peanuts, Pogba next year, Dybala the year after, and that Marotta will never sign a world class player, and that we've just taken several steps backwards...

It would be nice to see people at least wait until the season starts to cry out "the sky is falling", as for all we know this new looks Juve could be fantastic.

That's because Marotta not only got some openly haters, but some members who hides it and starts the knee jerk at a strategically suitable time.

Oh yeah, I agree that he was definitely showing signs of the old Vidal towards the end of last season. I personally don't think he should be sold and I am quite annoyed by the "small" price we are selling him for, but some of the doom and gloom posts I'm reading lately on this forum are reminiscent of when Conte quit on us.

I see what you're saying but then it's a forum, a football forum. All of that is expect.

When you sell one of your best players, a pillar of the team, one of the top3 most important players for the 4 scudetti, and you sell him out of nowhere, for a disappointing price, and without a replacement aligned before you do it...

It's only normal and expected to be pissed / unsatisfied with the situation.

What is not normal is to think it's OK because, you know, Marotta.

For a while i wanted him to be benched just because i thought he wasn't taking things seriously and his bad form was hurting us, hurting me to see him that way. At that point if he wanted to go i'd say fine, get us a good replacement, i can take this.

But then he starts to show he's still have it in him and hearing the news about him leaving was sad as fuck. And for that cheap ass price. I thought Vidal was here to become a legend.

People will complain no matter what.

A few and 75% of them are trolling. In fact, Zach is the only active lover, since the rest have been inactive.
