I don't mind if players use us a stepping stone especially the foreign ones because I understand our position but atleast we need to guarantee ourselves good sums for outgoing transfers.
It's understandable if the player is a scrub but not for your top players. That €10-€15m could be the difference between signing a high class AM or just a decent one.
I worry if we'll make the same mistake with Pogba.

Why don't you tell us again how getting Tevez would be a waste of money and that you'd rather have Giovinco upfront paired with Vucinic or Matri?

At least ALC wasn't that far off with Lahm, who is pretty amazing and much better than what we have.

@X, if you are going to insist on banning Cronios from threads because he's a troll, then you need to be consistent and ban this tool as well.
I will as soon as you tell us how the club made the wrong decision yet again for apointing Allegri... :lol2:

And reported for insult btw.

As did almost every Juve fan. Your claim was simply dumb, but you won't admit it. I'm just glad everyone sees how ridiculous you are now. :)

You are everyone I guess. And no, not every Juve fan felt that way and this is not the first time you made those ridiculous statements, but feel free to continue by all means.

@zizinho

This thread is why I want nothing to do with the footballing sections right now.

We bring in 3 good-to-excellent players.
We manage to sell some dead wood for decent prices.
We lose 3 players who want to move on.
We confirm we are looking for a CAM.
There is still over a month left in mercato to bring in a CAM and maybe a LB.
There are at least 2-3 months left before we'll have any idea how good our team will be with changes made.

SO, you'd think people would take the wait and see approach. Let's see who we sign in the next month. Let's see how the team starts the season. Let's see how we do in the CL group stages. Let's wait and see before we say this was a terrible mercato.

Nope. Instead it's meltdown, and:

Beppe isn't good enough for a club like Juve.
Beppe is acting like he's at Sampdoria still.
We're a selling club.
We're on the same level as Dortmund.
We're going to lose scudetto and do terrible in CL.

And the sad part is these people aren't even trolling. It was the same when we lost COnte last year. Look at the Allegri thread. People were claiming we wouldn't even make the top 3 and CL for this year.

Could our management have made some bad signings and we have a lousy year? Sure. It's a possibility. But the likelihood from all we've experienced under Marotta and Paratici is that we should give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for the season to arrive to see how good this rejuvenated and younger squad looks.

This won't happen though. SO :snoop:
 i see what you mean. it will be even sweeter this way, when Marotta traditionally starts proving them wrong again :D cant wait for it

What you'll see is the usual. Us winning and dominating like we usually do, a complete lack of activity in this thread from his detractors, and then the moment we draw/lose - this thread explodes :touched: The same story for the past four seasons.

People underestimate the signings we've made.

Mandzukic has scored 68 goals-14 assists in 130 matches over the last 3 years.

Tevez scored 67 goals-24 assists in 142 matches over the last 3 years.

Mandzukic for under 20 mil is a great signing, and a superb replacement for the goals Tevez scored for us. Dybala is superb replacement for the assists.

Our forward group is far superior to what it was last year. It's not even close. Especially with Morata being a year more experienced and hopefully no injury to start this season. Add another year onto Coman as well.

Mandzukic, Morata(at 23), Dybala, Zaza is so much better than Tevez, Llorente, Morata(at 22), Matri.

Most of the people complaining about our mercato were also one's wishing Pirlo to leave Juve so I won't even mention him as a loss. Our starting XI is not in the slightest weaker with Marchisio or Khedira playing CDM instead of Pirlo. It's likely much stronger.

VIdal is the loss that hurts our team. Our midfield 3 will be slightly weaker this year, although another year of development and maturity for Pogba should negate some of that. Khedira is an excellent player. Pereyra will have another year under his belt, and just lacks end-product really. Sturaro will actually have a preseason to get involved and into the team. We'll have a very very strong set of 5 midfielders, without even counting Asamoah.

If we actually do sign a good CAM, not even world class, but good, we'll be a stronger team than last year.
