Pretty sure I read something that said Tevez told the Juve management months ago that he wanted to go to Boca. Juve just signed Dybala before the public knew Tevez was leaving.
My point with Vidal and his replacement is that I don't feel that pattern is quite pieced together yet as we don't know when first contacts occurred between Vidal and Bayern, at what point Juve knew of Bayern's interest/Vidal's desire to leave or when Juve started making moves for a trequartista.
It's the lack of information as yet regarding the gap between what was going on in private and what has come out publicly that means I don't think Marotta can be criticised at the moment.
It's entirely possible that you are correct, but we don't know that yet, so it's better to hold off on passing judgement.
