When a coach fails he gets the sack, but what happens if Marotta fails this summer? What if he fails in getting a quality SS, and selling some of the deadwood? Does he get the boot then? 
It seems people are willing to keep giving him the benefit of the doubt, but if a team gets relegated they don't say hey "we didn't have enough money, the other teams were stronger than us, and we simply weren't good enough to stay up, so let's give the coach another chance." They simply sack him

I don't know why he needs to get so sentimental in his discussion with the press. And I think it's extremely arrogant to say that the fans should be content winning in Italy, like that's a given. Also these kind of comments are doing nothing but killing expectations and makinhisnown job easier so that he doesn't have to face the pressure of delivering a game changer, like he's been promising since god knows when. This latest article only points out, that under a guy like Marrotta, Juve will never be like Bayern - who are his yardstick for success, but more like Dortmund. That's not bad, but considering how much the club has going for it, it's really a shame but Beppe isn't the man for the next phase. That being plugging the big gaping gaps with quality. Top quality.

mostly on loan to gain further experience but still it is a sign we're looking into the future, unfortunately to say this will continue to be the case till the league sorts out a better infrastructure for youth players in the country to be given a better opportunity to develop which they seem to be discussing about Serie A-2. Till then i have no doubt that the likes of leali will be ready to play for us when the time comes should they continue to grow

Not signing a top player may be a failure, it may not.
Signing a big name for 30 million on a 5 year contract worth 10 million a year may be a failure, it may not.
