Marrotta himself said he regretted the RvP deal., and even said that the reason that it fell through was the buy out amount for a player in the last year of his contract. Salary was not the issue. I'm not assuming anything. Arsenal wanted an x amount of money. Even a bid close to that of United would've had the player on his way to Turin because they didn't want him to go to a title contender. The caramelol comment could've been used just as well coz Wenger thought Juve weren't in the running coz they hadn't made a serious enough bidl

Seeing the player, seeing the amount paid for him and seeing the circumstances of his purchase, do you really think that goal that you're talking about could be considered a positive in this context? A defender whose cost us 5m, and been the cause of two conceded goals and scored one, does it change anything for you now? Still a $#@! deal for me.
it looks better for the club if Marotta puts our failure to sign him down to finances, rather than RVP's lack of interest in joining us.

Far too early to judge Peluso, especially when the team as a whole has been playing badly, Pirlo has been in and out of them team with niggling injuries, asamoah and chiellini, two of our strongest first team players, have been absent, Marchisio also niggled, vucinic not near his best fitness wise, matri with fkin flu...It was hard for any player to look good in that line-up last night. I watched the first half before heading to work, and it was dismal. fucking dismal.

At the moment, my bother is with Conte, more than the players, and much more than Marotta...with whom I am pleased overall. Especially if we win the league, get past celtic, regain our momentum at home, bring in bebeto's son Matthaus in the summer as well as Jojo or someone else of a similar star quality, grab Doria also...

This is a lot of wishful thinking. In the end United are paying £70m for RVP, which we can't do.

I can see an argument for committing money for Lisandro or even Drogba, but that move is another level. I'm going to have to leave you with your RVP fantasy.

No, a goal is definitely a negative. Seriously...

As for Peluso overall I'd say he has been negative so far. We like killing players straight away, so why should he be any different?

Where is @Cronios ? I have a song I want to dedicate to him. This seems to be a thread one would find him in. These two are for you and because there are so many haters out there. But I think you make a lot of valid points and enjoy reading your posts - even if I don't always agree. So, well, I won't prolong this bromance any more, here you go.

Song 1:

Song 2:

and lots of love out to the rest of tuz, cause this month of hell is soon to be ever. even if it is the very same month that me and my gf are born in.

marotta, make a final troll and bring in lisandro, cuz this can't get much worse.

It might be early to judge Peluso. I am sure he can step up his game, but I am confident that even if he does and will at best be an average player, as the rest of our backups. As much as I like Giach for his work efforts one cannot neglect that he, Padoin, Peluso among other simply are not good enough. We can have a few of these (1-2) in our team but right now we simply have too many. Padoin, PDC, Peluso, Giach, needs to eventually leave place for someone who step up the quality even on our bench. LL is on his way next summer to hopefully bring great quality up front but I think we need another quality signing up front and then look to bring in quality in our rotational players so that our starters at least can feel a little threatened. Right now no one really is. The good thing is that until the summer we have time to evaluate if Isla, Pepe, can fill some void or not and if Marrone can be good enough to act rotational player or if he simply is not good enough. For the rest of the above mentioned, Peluso etcetera, we need to make immediate room this summer and find more reliable players.

I'm sorry, from the first goal he let us concede, it was clear that its a misbuy. I mean, half giovinco's goals come from a defender marking 2 meters away, allowing the shot.

he isnt worthy of serie a.

Still worth the money because he's a big name. Haven't you been reading the full retard page that is the last one?
It's not fucking about Balotelli himself. Do you understand that yet? It's that bilan who are more broke than we are can get a €37m foward down to €20m over 6 years in winter mercato. and we get fucking anelka.

And even Lisandro for a reasonable price €8-9m who is a good finisher we can't even get... it really is getting to the point of ridiculous now.

That's the thing, that move is all about Balotelli, about him wanting to play for his team. It doesn't happen otherwise.

Well I heard Lisandro was pushing for a move...

But say for example... sanchez was pushing for a move to Juve and publicly said he wants to play for us and we could get him for €20m now, do you think Marotta would do it? No, he wouldn't. But somehow broke bilan uncle fester galliani can.

Lyon did want to sell. But Marotta always has to sign 'on our terms'. Even when that is clearly not in the club's best interests from a footballing perspective, which at the end of the day is the most important thing.
