And now we have members who again change their tune about Marotta's work. One day defending and the next questioning. It's not that complicated to make an assessment (whether pro or con) but it seems people struggle

Justification at that time was that he was young and Italian...
other than that, Marotta's inefficiency to sign a player of this class, he never has signed and never will sign a Balo, Dzeko, Cavani, RVP, Aquero etc forward class in his carrier, unless he is finds when he is underaged and there is no high competition for him or unless he reaches Anelka's age.

Again, ignoring context and circumstance. We were a dire team with no appeal. No CL. Nothing.
