Floro Flores.

Actually the guy deserves high respect. We were about to sign him for 7m but he admitted that he is not good enough to play for Juventus and turned down Marotta. Only if other mediocre strikers were that wise.
Floro Flores was hilarious, he rejected us then he scored against us in the same season. It's funny and sad at the same time.

I like it how you intentionally avoided talking about Lisandro Lopez and the fact that we did not agree on terms with the club.

Nope, I have never seen this before. Never happened in any of the transfer windows where Marotta was in charge.
No idea what you are talking about, you asked me about Anelka.

Then by your logic, it's a solution for absolutely nothing, and hence a poor signing.
Bendtner and Vucinic both injured or struggling with fitness leaves us with Giovinco, Quag and an inconsistent Matri, all the while competing in three different tournaments. Im not saying Anelka would have been my first choice but considering its the January transfer market we're talking about here, I couldn't have expected anyone that much more superior to arrive with such low contract demands.
*If in fact he arrives*

You should get busy and clean his $#@! instead of posting your $#@! here then. Everybody wins.

Wow, stunning retort. I'm pretty sure you summed up your existence here in one single post. Congratulations.

You're just a tad bit upset you don't really have any opinion of your own. You're part of the reason why some folks miss the old members. You don't offer anything.

Which is why I'm glad you returned, even if it took you a bad result for Juve. The forum needed your wisdom and objectivity. I'm not entirely sure how it survived without you.

Forced for what exactly? He came in January and we ended up 7th. 18 million € for a 27 years old average forward was a monstrous call.
Whoa. You mean in between going undefeated last year, winning a Scudetto, building a new stadium and a burgeoning youth system, winning another Scudetto this year, doing well in the CL and quite possibly breaking even financially while being a top 5-7 team in the world, we managed to overpay a player for a player?

The horror.

Did we really win the Scudetto this year? When? I must have missed it.

We didn't yet. But there are two ways you can view this: We're going to win the scudetto or we're not going to win the scudetto. The discussion so far clearly indicates who is in which camp :p

You can add winning 4 world cups in 2 seasons if you like but that won't change the fact this guy is spending huge amounts on worthless players and when he finds someone worthy he can't pay the required sum then going for cheaper options. It's like a circle.

My post was not a question, I can't recall asking you anything. Yet you brought in the Drogba link to compare him with the Anelka link and ignored that we had a link with Lisandro Lopez too.
Though deep down (based on experience and history) you know that such a rumour (Anelka) is bound to happen.
So you are in fact telling me what I think. My answer is the same as my reply.

I'm not sure where you are going with the whole Lisandro thing. I don't see Lisandro as being a similar transfer as that of Drogba or Anelka (low fee/loan, high wages). Lisandro requires a larger fee or at least loan with obligation to buy for a larger fee, if we listen to what Aulas says.

So how the fuck did we ever win anything?
