Just gonna jump in and point out that it's not the same situation as with quag and motta as both of them were loans. We haven't thrown money at them that we won't get back, like in the loan deals, as if they go back to udinese they will need to buy our 50% back.
You may be right about how budgets are done - I have no idea, I'm not an accountant for a football club - but using the previous loan deals as examples is a very flawed argument in this case.
(unless of course on announcement these turn out to be loans, but I'm fairly sure they're co-owns?)

I try to make this from our press release statement. The hardest part is to get the amount from loan of our youth player, co- own for our youth player etc. But in this spreadsheet we can see what we actually spend every year.

But again we come to what I said. If we count Isla and Asamoah's full sums this summer, then we shouldn't count Caceres and Giaccherini for this summer because they were last year's buys. In the end you will get almost the same total of money for this summer. Instead of 37.05m eur the total sum will be 39.8m eur for new players (minus the money we got from Ekdal) which will be paid in installments.
FFS, of course I can't make a 100% correct calculation due to the installments and we're forced to count it this way. It was you who said that we spent most of the transfer budget and you made it sound as if you knew how much we're paying for installments and new players. In any case, the installments from the previous seasons are more or less nullified with the fact that we're buying the new players in installments too. That's why the only logical way to count it is the way I did it in one of my posts above.
Btw, this is how much we were spending in all the post-calciopoli seasons, bar the serie B one.

(for Isla+Asamoah+Giovinco only, no Caceres, Giacche, Matri, Vucinic, etc)
not considering Pogba, Veratti and that young forward... (if we add them too, thats about what we spend as average every year)

More if we want to buy a LB as well. Even more if we pay for those 3 youngsters.
Even more if we dont sign Lucio and will have to spend for a decent CB.

Can't help but to think we pretty much got raped on that Isla and Asamoah deal big time from Udinese !

Each player is a solid addition to the squad but are they really worth (at the moment) anything even close to that figure ?!
And I know some will come out and say yes they're worth it (based solely On their "potential") for the sake of defending Marotta's decision, this deal reminds me so much of Melo & Diego's deals (both are just 5 mil short of that price) and back then people were jumping up and down thinking we've got a bargain on that deal yet know everyone thinks that Secco is stupid for paying that price (can't really see much difference between him and Marotta with this kind of deals).
