I'd would choose quality over quantity.

Dybala 32.
Gundogan 30-35.
Loan Javi Martinez 5m.
Neto 0.
Khedira 0.
Cuadrado 1.5.
Rugani 10.
Keep Vidal, coman and llorente.

Still best midfield in the world

Juventus failed in €25m Hamsik bid, reveal Napoli

The Serie A champions made a big offer for the Slovakian midfielder but were unsuccessful, Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed he rejected a €25 million bid from Juventus for Marek Hamsik on transfer deadline day.

Juve had an eventful day, which picked up in pace after they lost out on long-term target Julian Draxler, who opted to join Wolfsburg from Schalke.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men eventually signed Hernanes from Inter in an €11m deal and Mario Lemina on loan from Marseille in a frantic final few hours of the window, but not before they had failed in an attempt to sign Hamsik.

“This is a team which has kept its stars,” De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“Juventus wanted Hamsik for €25m, I asked them for Stefano Sturaro and Daniele Rugani and they refused… so they got Hernanes instead!

“We had offers totalling €98m, not including those for Gonzalo Higuain and not selling them is the same as if I had bought players worth that much.”

As well as keeping key stars like Hamsik and Higuain, Napoli - who have signed Nathaniel Chalobah on loan from Chelsea – also came close to landing Alessio Romagnoli earlier in the summer, only for De Laurentiis to see him join AC Milan for €25m from Roma when he was prepared to pay more.

He continued: “I offered Walter Sabatini €28m for Alessio Romagnoli and he then sold him for €3m less than previously discussed, but Vlad Chiriches is a good buy.

“If anything the problem isn’t that we couldn’t get Rugani or Romagnoli, it’s that identifying and getting the best central defenders is difficult.”

Napoli have only picked up one point from their opening two Serie A matches going into the international break.
'players that suit juventus' - goes after hamsik

he also doesnt feature in duranfj's formation :p

if we sold vidal early enough:

licht bonbon benatia Sandro

------radja------

marchisio pogba

berardi morata(vietto) pereyra/coman
This. :tuttosport:

Vietto or Dybala as he can play CF/9 as well. And the Morata-Dybala front 2 looks pretty interesting.

Man, could you imagine not having sold Vidal and buying Radja, so having Radja, Vidal, Pogba, Marchisio as our midfield diamond. IT would destroy.

Cuz Guardiola don't use him at all. He dismiss that kind of player and I think he can be back to heynckes level. BM would be benefit if he get back to his old level

Either way, Hamsik isn't as important as he once was. Sturaro and Rugani are future prospects on the rise.

People writing off Sturaro for ONE fucking game is laughable.

He isn't "Anti-Juve" cause he accepted to join us 1,5 years ago in winter mercato we just didn't have the funds and Roma picked him up.
Either way he is retarded not anti-juve. Well you must be to reply on twitter to everyone who makes jokes or insult you no?

Apparently, Coman was a prospect too. However, we had no problems giving him away. Is it because Sturaro and Rugani are Italian that people enjoy hyping them up so much? Rugani has shown promise. I don't get what the big fuss is surrounding Sturaro. If indeed ADL had asked for 25 million + Sturaro for Hamsik, then we should have closed the deal, no questions asked. Marotta should have driven Sturaro to Naples himself. Hamsik is a guarantee. Sturaro still has a lot to prove, and may be nothing more than a rotational player in future.

Coman had his chances and he blew 'em away. I'm not saying he did bad, but he never lived up to be a starter and he didn't like being a sub for the time being. Juve did what they always do with players not wanting to play on. Also, a total of 28 million for him is a good deal for us, a gamble for Bayern.

Sturaro+25m adds up to almost 40m for Hamsik. I don't think Hamsik is worth that much money these days.

Why are people even bringing up Radja? He fucking despises us and our fans, never in a million years he'd play for us. And I think he is an overly disgusting character (wife beater) anyway. Fuck that ugly prick.

Are you sure about that? I think he despises us, and he revels in the fact that he winds up Juventini.

Inflated market, coupled with a much needed panic purchase on the final day of the mercato. I know Hamsik isn't worth 40 million, but given the conditions, and the ridiculous prices other teams have been paying for lesser known names, perhaps 40 million (25 million in cash tho) wouldn't have been such a bad deal.

He became Anti-Juve after joining Roma. It's what being at that club does to a player. It's funny, even with Calciopoli and all other Inter shit, Milan shit, etc. I'm positive Roma fans, players, coaches hate us more than any other Serie A Club by far.

You know he's not worth 40 million, but paying that amount for him wouldn't be a bad deal.

Makes sense.
