If they were, then why didnt other teams do them, cause we arent the only team looking for good deals
Vidal wanted to come to Juve, no other major clubs were interested at the time. Pirlo was and still is elderly. Tevez was spent and nobody else really wanted him since the Falcao's and Cavani's were on the market. Other teams didn't do those deals because they were interested in other players.

Martinez was wrong yeah. Krasic got everyone pretty excited including me, but then he crashed out and del neri couldnt change it
When he played under conte, conte failed to lift his confidence, and he needed a new team to fix that.
Did a new team fix that because I haven't heard anything about the guy in a while. Iirc last I heard of him he was benched for some random team.

Dude its Zach.He would've even gone on to say that Krasic had a Messi-esque impact for us if thats what was needed to strengthen his argument.

Poor Krasic.Conte ruined him.So much so that no other coach at his future clubs could bring his confidence back

my two cents
Marotta makes top signings (pirlo, barzagli, pogba, lorente, vidal, tevez, coman, lichtsteiner) for peanuts. all of them risk-free because they were already top players or did come for free. no-brainer but for this he is hailed as the king of directors by some members.

All other signings for the first team were either vastly overvalued or had no impact. The only exception would be asamoah and vucinic, paid big bucks but paid off. But when someone criticize marotta exactly for this money wasting, he is a fucking peasant with no brain.

It is ridiculous. I mean if it were Del Piero who was criticized for some mistakes, i would understand if people defend him to death because he is a fucking legend. But we are talking about marotta who works FOR juve and is not juve.
some people do and that is where criticism comes from. If he got padoin, peluso, martinez, matri, quaqs,.... for free or little money no one would blame marotta if they did not succeed.
Personally i don´t blame him for isla because at the time it looked like it could work. it did not so we move on.

Yes I blame people for obvious mistakes and praise people for good work. Where did I refuse to do the same for conte? If you want my opinion on conte: biggest mistake was that he left and his stubbornness when it comes to tactics/subs in certain matches.

As I said before the good deals marotta made were no-brainer. I don´t hail marotta or conte for these players. In my view there was little risk financial and sporting wise, they were and are very good players.
 Two high quality posts.

No you are wrong .Vidal first had agreement with Bayern and agreed to move there and agreed his personal terms with them.Than Bayer Leverkuzen's general manager stopped the move of Vidal to Bayern because he said he don't want to sell players to the competition.THEN Vidal choose us.His first option was Bayern. It happened very hars words between Bayern and Leverkuzen over Vidal .

Let's talk about all te good deals so we set an end to this silly argument

Barzagli wanted a return to Italy and there's no denying we are the most attractive club in the country.
Pogba was talken as being a favour from Raiola to Nedved who had recently received a managerial role in the club.
Lichtsteiner was bought just as Lazio asked, they set a price, we negotiated it down a bit, paid the fee and got the player.
Vucinic? DOes that count as a good deal? Roma put him on the market, we paid his price.

Is that it? Are there other good deals? Because this is nothing out of the ordinary.

Which is actually an argument against Marotta. We should thank Leverkusen for the deal.

someone pleae explan how pogba was risk free?

considering his competition was marchisio, that means juventus was fucked if pogba didnt perform and marchisio was injured, oh wait is that not what happened last season?

good thing pogba succeeded. it could have easily ended otherwse, and you peoepl would be complaingin about marotta not buying a decent midfielder for depth and instead getting an unknown young freebie

The fee paid for Pogba was very low and his wages are also very low.

where did i mention either of those

i said about how it could hae beeen a disaster becaue he was ovious 4th choice mid last 2 seasons, and if he wasnt such an exceptional player, marchisio's injury could have wrecked juve's season. just look at how many points pogba won, espcially in the first part of last seaosn.

if he he was obscure player with no real quality, and he failed, everyone would be asking for marotta' head of rnot buying depth for the mdifield

Actually Asamoah was the one brought for depth for midfield initially but seeing his performances at LWB in pre-season Conte opted to use him there.

I simply replied on why he was risk free, he costs nothing. and as The Cusp said, Marotta wanted to loan him out but Raiola forbid him. Tells you much about Marotta really.

dont care about could have or should haves. if asamoah was used as a mid, then it would have been peluso and dc as wbs, so stilll a disaster.

edit: oh no, he wanted to loan out an unknown youngster that no one knew was going to turn out this great, what disaster. if only he had jck's magic ball that knew pogba was going to be 70 million euro player in 2012. tsk tsk

again. dont care about could have or shold have. you could have gottteon into an auto accident, but you didnt. does this mean i shoud bury in a casket because you could have done it

I remember that very well and I remember how many of us complained at the high fee we are paying for Asamoah to be a bench player.

It was Marotta who bought Peluso anyway.

And if we remember correctly,we WERE in the market for a WB and we dint get one in the end because of Asamoah's fantastic pre-season with us.
Initial plan clearly was Asamoah as backup mid and a new LWB.

Actually when he was at Udinese he played as AM and RB for Ghana.
I dont know what are you talking about, but Asamoah was mostly defensive mid for Udine and often playing left, close to the sidelines. For Ghana he was covering all positions on the left side. In fact not a single friendly that summer was this guy played on any other positions.

Asamoah was an AM initially for Udinese. He also played AM for Ghana in WC 2010.Once Sanchez was introduced into the team Asamoah moved CM/LCM.

He started playing as a left-mid for Ghana only after his new found LWB role at Juve.
