    I don't think anyone in the world deserved the 2003 Balon D'Or other than Pavel Nedved. Not Del Piero, not Zidane... no one.

    Juventus Football Club wishes to express its sadness at the news of the death of Giovanni Trapattoni’s sister.

    The current Republic of Ireland national coach, who enjoyed two successful managerial spells in Turin, was forced to miss yesterday’s press conference in Dublin after his sister, Romilde, passed away at the age of 83.

    All associated with Juventus send their condolences to Giovanni and his family.
