Say what you want he is the only player left who has played in every major stage in the world. He won the world cup won numerous scudetti and was in a champions league final. He knows what it takes and honestly he knows playing well at this point in the season means little. Does anyone remember how we played last year in the first half. We were 3 points back going into January and finished 7th. Love Chiellini but he hasnt won anything yet even though he was on the team he wasnt instrumental in the team winning trophies

Damn, Kate. You noticed this weeks ago: “I’ve lost four or five kilos. I don’t know how much it helps me, because in the last 10 years I’ve always weighed 93, 94 kilos and now I’m 88, 89."

Marchisio can get it when his time comes--after Buffon and Chiellini.

Personality is more important than playing position when selecting a captain. I don't think Marchisio can be the leader of this squad as yet. Buffon, everyone respects him (except cretins like Thiago Motta).
Have I missed something? Did the goat say something st00pid?

Giving the armband to anyone but Buffon after Del Piero leaves would be like and insult to Gigi! This guy could've left anywhere in the world after we got relegated, he could've went to Madrid and nobody would of heard of Casillas today. Buffon is a BAWSS n i  him

It's been a while since I've heard him speak this well...

“If we’re conceding few goals it’s because the defensive aspects of the team are working well. And that starts from the strikers who this year, alongside the midfielders, are giving us a big hand.

“We currently have one of the strongest midfields in Europe: we can count on [Claudio] Marchisio who’s in blinding form, on [Andrea] Pirlo, who’s the best a team could have in that role, and on [Arturo] Vidal, who’s the true revelation of this championship."

Let's just hope we don't suddenly end up losing again.

Otherwise, everyone will curl up under their shell again and speak like a mid-table team..

He looks really sharp these last few games. His anticipation is on another level apart from other keepers. He is out to challenge shots before the striker has even been played in yet.
