I doubt Gigi will go to Chelsea because everyone knows (and he will surely also know) Chelsea wants a replacement NOW and he said he will stay until the end of the season.
Add to that the fact that, when Cech (and hopefully he will) returns, these two Goalkeepers are to good to have in one team so one will be benched, I for one don't see Gigi taking that risk.

The first thing I thought when I heard about the Chelsea injuries was that they would now go for Buffon. At least if we sell Buffon in January or next summer we will get a lot for him with ManU, Inter, Milan and in January perhaps Chelsea in a bidding war. I hope we can keep him at least until summer though. He is very important considering our shaky defensive. But I think it will be hard to keep him next summer. He would have left already without the scandal and our demotion.

i don't think there is any amount of money that could compensate the loss of buffon.
:agree: He is indispensible especially just now. Chelsea & ManU keep your hands off & moratti's a dead man if he doesn't. :boxing:

Well Gigi has decided to be part if the Juve setup in Serie B...so God willing when we get promoted what incentive will he have to play for Milan?

I hope that Buffon stays with Juve, but loyalty is only going to go so far. The man has a career that he has to look after and as an athlete it will unfortunately only last so long.

The problem as I see it with Gigi going to a team in the English league is the English part of it and his lack of English skills. From what I know, he doesn't have any and that is not a comforatable position to put yourself into. Moving to another European league would be easier due to similarities with languages.

My guess is he will stay in Italy, Serie A is a great league, current problems not withstanding. It is a comfort zone on some level.

Isn't his girlfriend a Juventina??
Alena Seradova is Czech, but lives in or around Milan. She is a model and is naked in the pictures half the time.

Look her up. Pretty girl.

Doesn't mean Gigi won't leave Juventus. Doesn't mean he will go to Milan. None of this means anything until the end of the season when he looks at his options. Buffon has been loyal to Juve and will help pull them out of Serie B. After that, he needs to look after his own career. He is an athlete and only has so many years in his career; he needs to do what is best for him.

I dont know what to think, Gigi is happy - he stayed with us, he didnt complain once over the summer until now and he is very important for us.

On the other hand, he is very demanded GK, if not the Most Wanted in the whole Europe.

So he would bring some serious cash if being sold.

I dont know if Secco and Cobolli can resist a big amount of money, although they insist Buffon wont be sold.

I think we will know more about "Buffon situation" in 2 months.

Until then, I will be enjoying his performances!
