Inter is planning to offer 29 million euro + Toldo and Burdisso for Buffon.
The deal won't happen during the January transfer window, but Moratti would be willing to wait until July.
He would be offered a 5.8 million euro/year contract.

29million + 2 ruined players! It would not be polite to tell you what moratti should do with his "offer".

Well he isnt exactly, he is near 30 years old, and players drop their value at this years.
Goalkeepers can play on, longer than outfielders - Dino Zoff played until he was 40 (at least). IMO Gigi is better - even though Dino was a Juventino.

Hopefully not because he won't play forever, and if he really wants out after this season, then such an offer can count, although I would hate to see him in the Inter line-ups next year so he'd better choose another team.

best keeper will play for Best team-JUVENTUS

    I dont think so.

Be realistic man, he said, for hundred times, that he is not sure of staying in Juve this season.

He stayed this season only because we re in Serie B and he wanted a new challenge.

As soon as we get back into Serie A or stay another year in Serie B he will leave us.

I would like him to stay but I dont believe he will.

Many people were always saying that Peruzzi will stay in Juventus forever and then we sold him to Inter, remember?

if he does leave he better not stay in italy....what would be the point of playing in Inter or Milan? He has already done it all in Italy and it will not improve his chances of winning in Europe...I expect him to move to Premiership to Man Utd.
But hope he retires with us...

Premiership duo target Buffon Tuesday 17 October, 2006

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juve's Gianluigi Buffon is attracting the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea, according to reports in Italy on Tuesday.

The Red Devils had already been paired with the goalkeeper after the World Cup and they are keen on grabbing him in 2007, with the possibility that Marcello Lippi could also simultaneously replace Sir Alex Ferguson on the bench.

However, the Old Trafford outfit are not the only English side keen on Buffon’s world-class abilities.

Title rivals Chelsea are currently facing an emergency situation between the posts after the injuries suffered by Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini at the weekend.

Roman Abramovich’s club was linked to Inter man Francesco Toldo yesterday, but rumours now suggest that Buffon is their No 1 target.

It’s understood that the Stamford Bridge side are ready to make an offer that could not be refused by Juventus in order to bring Buffon to London as early as January.

In the meantime, Inter and Milan have not ruled out the idea of seeing Buffon at the San Siro next season.

The Nerazzurri have reportedly offered the Bianconeri £21m plus Toldo or defender Nicolas Burdisso, as well as a £4.2m per year contract to the player.

Juventus, however, do not seem keen on letting the Golden Ball nominee leave Turin as his performances are proving to be decisive in Serie B, as confirmed by his impressive display at Treviso on Monday.

Although it would hurt me very much to see him leave (January or July), with Chelsea involved, he could bring in some big, very big cash.

i think everyone is in the same boat here and wants gigi to stay with us, we all see him as a key player in our fight for promotion back to serie A and i think gigi would realise how important he is to not only the squad itself but also to us fans.
Hopefully the juve board will fight any temptation for other club's that try pry him away from us, especially to the like's of Inter and Chelsea

It will be hard for Secco and Cobolli to reject a big amount of money from Moratti, Ferguson or Abramovich, but it would be smart.

Every club interested in Buffon can wait until the summer 2007 except Chelsea, they are desperate now.

But I hope for him to stay because he will be irreplacable for short term.

For long term we could always go for Amelia.

    Masterclass from Buffon

Gigi Buffon was busy this evening, especially after the interval, pulling-off a series of saves which showed just how much he means to the team. Applauded at the end of the match, the Bianconeri keeper had this to say: “I just did what I know best, I’m happy to have contributed to the win. The most difficult save was the one from Fava as I only saw the ball late”. Then a word on the game itself: “We felt the effects of the international games. We had trouble early on before getting into our stride, but in the second half we had a few too many difficulties”. And on being a favourite for this year’s Balon D’Or? “For the moment it’s just something to fill column inches, but I’m really pleased as it’s never easy for a goalkeeper”.

yeah if we can keep him then we should
i hope we can keep him until the end of the season, if he still wants to go afterwards, then ManU and Inter will have to outbid eachoter, but hopefully, he doesn't want to leave anymore once this season is finished.
