The walking dead really turned into a shit show. It was so good, but now it became the opposite. Apparantly ammunition grows on the trees as well, they never run out

But i watched this long, so gonna keep up until the end
I made it up to the end of season 3 (don't know how) and that's where I gave up. Never understood what is the fascination with this show even the first few season aren't good

Self preservation. That guy was fat as shit and has fucked up eyes he was barely going to last two seconds in the apocalypse, sensible sacrifice to save himself.

Thought his friend was dead, fathered a child with the woman, and was then completely cut out so she could pretend it never happened. What, Shane is supposed to just forget that he is likely the father of Judith and suck it up just so Lori doesn't have to admit any of it to dumb husband? Same husband whose brilliant decision was to hang out a farm and keep sending out search parties to find a 12 year old girl who has been missing for months in the zombie apocalypse as if she's still alive somehow? She was dead within minutes of being missing, shane was completely right that rick was a terrible leader living in a fantasy land and endangering everyone's lives (including the woman pregnant with his child) by carrying on this pointless crusade.
 The bolded part. Fucked up eyes
Because the stupid kid has to go touch a deer and gets shot?

You trolling or you seriously defending frigging Shane?

He Almost shot Rick in the woods after he came back if it wasn't for Dale catching him.

A two faced snake, shoot first, think later kinda guy. No moral or remorse in him, just a utterly unlikeable moron. The episode he finally died was ace.

I read the comic before hand, gave the show 3-4 episodes then gave up, utter dross. Robert Kirkman cashed in, shits far from the comics.

And since my choice to drop it everyone who watches it just constantly complain of the filler and how bad this or that is about it. Why bother watching.

Jon Berenthal is great tho in pretty much anything he does.

Anyone mentioned The Deuce yet?

Just watched the first season and it very much did it for me. Was skeptical about James Franco, especially considering he plays his identical twin, but they've managed to pull it off pretty well. Was really unnecessary though. They could have cast another good actor to play a non-twin brother. Definitely a bit of arrogance from Franco who's the director and executive producer.

Otherwise, I have to say James Franco has taken a step up in his career recently.

First season True Detective and first season Fargo are just amazing. True Detective dropped a lot in quality with the second while Fargo lost just a little. Fargo on the other hand lost a lot in its terrible third season.
Second season of Fargo was a huge disappointment. Just really badly written, I thought. That black character was a real shocker as well, always descending into drawn out monologues in that weird, unsuitable accent.

Me and JCK mentionned it.

Franco is great in this series indeed, and the twin thing is necessary because its really impressive transitions. Franco is producer, but not director no? David Simon is the creator and writer, together with his pal George Pelecanos (done The wire and treme with him too), with the directing by multiple guest directors of their choice. Franco directed 2 of the 8 episodes.

I really dig the mob part of the show the most btw. Hope they focus more on that, and the police corruption. Its too bad the pimp angle of it make more low key in later episodes, I was thinking the C.C character could be the best character of the show until the "front" massage parlours took over the Pimps bussinesses.

I'd have to double check but I swear I remember seeing James Franco - director in all the opening credits. Yeah, it's that signature comprehensive David Simon style that I love so much. All the different cells of power coexisting in this mutually affecting relationship - like "the game" in The Wire in which the cops, gangbangers, unions, politicians and media participate in alike. It's a great formula for a TV show.

I'm the opposite. The pimps were my favorite part of the show. Pimps are something I don't think television or film has ever properly depicted before. I hope those characters aren't phased out. They should fight back to stake their claim in some way. Method Man looks hilarious with that hair cut

On the other hand, the mob has been done a million times in TV and movies. The wiseguys are looking a bit stereotypical so far. Rudy is a simple character. I'm don't know if they'll dig a little deeper and show things from their point of view and develop them, but they should if they want to avoid making caricatures out of them.

I love the the Pimps too man (C.C in particular), but they cant be my favs when they became so very underused later on IMO. The mob plot is becoming the overarching main theme with them getting into the new porn bussiness, predict season 2 will continue on that path.

BTW THE COLDEST SCENE IN TV HISTORY is what Slim Charles from the Wire's character, the diner cook, did, in his last scene, never seen a scene scream gangsta as much as that lol.

Sad early exit for Slim Charles. This was great.

Anyone seen Supernatural?
I started watching the show as a hate watch, but I was shocked to see how good it was.
Haha, every time I heard that name I was thinking 'girl show, no thanks'. And not only a girl show, but for teen girls.

I did hear it's decent from various people, though, but I still decided to skip due to way too many seasons which I find repulsive these days.

 Good show for horror fans, been watching since season 1.

Just fast forward the chick flick moments, shit can get unbearable at times.

Big plus is there are already 10+ seasons to binge watch if you are new to it :D

This is why I’m now a season behind, but will still binge watch to catch up because I’ve been in it since the start...
