I've just finished watching Season 1, but I got to say it really surprised me how much I enjoyed WGN's Manhattan. The last few episodes got really intense, there were some excellent plot twists, the acting is solid, and the Manhattan Project is hardly covered in any time period pieces. They also did a good job of making the scientific challenges real without dumbing it down for American science knuckleheads.

Anyone else think that British comedy Black Books with Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran was fucking brilliant? I just finished rewatching the first season. That show is hilarious. Reminds me of say Bottom mixed with Blackadder or something along those lines.

Wow it's really disgusting how they did Bruce in Gotham. It's so pathetic they made a 11yo kid behave the way he does. Not only that he kept his cool after losing both of his parents in front of him, he became a detective who can track economics. Quite silly how they mess the silliest thing out there, pretty horrible imo.

Good to see I am not the only one who feels that way considering I have a ton of reasons to be biased here. An unassuming but pretty sophisticated show with the acting coming thru as the real winner for me, so far. And the science-y part is the cherry on that cake for me.

Seriously, D., life is too short to waste it on crap like that. ;)
