There's no design, it's complete randomness as to how the system forms after the initial process that triggers it. Even if you don't believe scientific theory or the nebular hypothesis, the search for exoplanets has shown that there are a variety of planetary designs and solar system formations.

Just looking at our closest neighbouring system will tell it's own story - Alpha Centauri is a binary star system. It has an exoplanet roughly the same mass as the Earth, but it is so close to Alpha Centauri B it is most probably covered in magma. The system has no planets the size of Neptune or greater, so is not like our Solar System.

It's entertaining to read what people like Linebreak believe when they're being honest as opposed being evasive during an argument they're clearly losing. It's also mind blowing.

I imagine Linebreak believes that if he didn't have someone to tell him to believe all this baloney and he'd have to think for himself from the very beginning he'd now be a drug addict or on death row or something similar. There is a very strong current of fatalism among these people along the lines of "if not for my faith then disaster is inevitable".
lol - empty words from a pseudo-intellectual.

You're right. It's proof that Brahma obviously created it. :agree:

Ramen!

They're deluded into thinking that their lives would be worse off without god in it.
I wonder if Linebreak has ever tried to livea month or 2 without any belief in god and see if his life is noticeably different or not?
Multiple God's is impossible.

I love your silly suggestion though!

Try pulling your head out of your backside before you speak, it usually helps, although in your case that's questionable.
wow, nolifer is in the bulding, so who the fuck are you - the christian, muslim, scientolog or something?? hari krishna hari rama??

if you speak to god - you are believer
if god speak to you - you are madman

case closed. fuck religion.

Why is it impossible?

And it's not a silly suggestion. If you think that the obvious design of the universe is proof of a creator, then that opens the door for every god to potentially be true.
Try running a country with two presidents and see how you go.

When I said silly I was referring to your "try living without believing in God" suggestion. It's not like wearing a hat or something.

You know, I was going through the other thread cos I had a good response to this post, and I wanted to share that. But look at what I came across:

I never says I'm done with the thread. Just finished in trying to convince you(Linebreak) that you are wrong. Clearly, you're delusional, and I'm not gonna waste my time anymore on trying to convince you. I'm just gonna ridicule you for my amusement. :D
So, yeah... There can only be one god, and it's not the one you believe in. :D

As Einstein said - The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

And he was spot on when talking about technology, that one day it will surpass our humanity. I think if it didn't yet, it will very soon, quite sad really.

first of all, i don't know why you accredit that quote to religion. it could mean anything and knowing einstein, he was probably talking about his studies and concepts, which were ridiculed back in the day.

and technology is a bad thing? then become amish.
