The truckers are mostly retards, the government are retards too. For some bizarre reason they both think they have support. Majority of the country supports the vaccine and mask mandates. Majority of the country dislikes Trudeau government too. It’s like two groups claiming they fighting for the people that most of the people detest.

I don’t care much for the vaccine mandates and think with omicron here we should basically be moving on and dropping them very shortly. The public support for them is a majority but it isn’t overwhelming. But you have to be a complete moron to be going and publicly rioting/protesting over wearing a mask inside businesses and shops. It’s a tiny thing. Lots of people work in industries where you are stuck wearing far more uncomfortable masks while doing physical work for several hours a day. Putting a little flimsy mask on when you enter a store or a restaurant is a very minor inconvenience. I’d also have more sympathy if majority of the anti-maskers we’re just popping up now after 2 years, but it’s been the same people going strong protesting and bitching about masks from the very beginning.

Freedom convoy is using children as human shields to block passage to the states. Some roam around schools to 'teach' them young lol. Plus in Ottawa they literally shit all over the city.
You can be against mandate, and I can understand that. Some people I know didn't vaccinate and they're decent people. But these occupationist folk are ruining the economy with these blockades and the most loud of them are trash.

But they are a significant enough element of the convoy.
Anyways, the irony is that in a country where 60-65% of the population votes for centre left to left parties every federal election they are doing a good job of making it more likely that the liberal party stays in power again after next election, regardless of who the leader is.
