Yea Chinese govt's intrusive micromanaging of its own citizens is super creepy but this one time it seems forgiveable.

i recently saw a documentary on their social credit system and the selling of indulgences to people whose credit has reduced for any reason.

China is fucked. coming from western society its weird seeing a modern day collectivist culture.

The scary thing is... there all SORTS of folks in the US who want the US to be exactly like China. Most of them are left-leaning folks in the tech industry. That’s even more scary than the Coronavirus that still isn’t being reported on properly.

The surgical masks won’t help, but the N95 masks might help provided the mask is worn properly and the virus can not be spread via the eyes.
