You didnt. I mean a balance by having one of each, a male and female parent is surely something should be encouraged. So two lesbians might provide more affection and care, but they would like the qualities a man could generally provide and vice versa. Having a balance would help promote the lack of upbringing or character building that you may find prevalent amongst what is the norm.
The point of this adoption thing is that these kids don't have the choice of a mom and dad. Kids who are adopted come from the streets, orphanages (which tend to be very abusive) or broken homes. A gay couple as parents isn't the worst thing to happen to them. At least the kids are actually wanted by these parents.

First off there should be a 100 question test before one is allowed to even ponder reproduction. If you miss one question, you can't have kids.

As for the "who can you fuck and it still be legal" evasion, you can fuck whatever you want but some shit ain't gonna be with the societal flavor.
