Gay Adoption (6 Viewers)

Any society that allows gay adoption is probably ready for the children to thrive in it. Better a loving family than loveless institutions.

I have friends of the same sex, who live in marital harmony and have children. They are well balanced and happy. I also have friends in traditional hetrosexual relationships that are separated, and have messed up their children.

Point: none other than it is the love and commitment given to children that makes them happy.

Can we end the thread on that note? :)

No, you said that a child needs his mother more than his father and I still don't understand why. You even said it was proven scientifically, where?
Because it's biological thing? Mother carries her child 9months in her belly? Mothers breast-feed their babies? Most women have more patience than men? Mothers learn things faster concerning babies? It's what the whole world and universe been doing since God or Del Neri created this earth/place.

Homophobia has been an issue even in countries like Sweden, but look how far we have come. It isn't a mission impossible. :)
I doubt it. Keep in mind that not only religious people are against this.

In what sources is it proven. I agree that, where possible, it is ideal to be able to give children an influence from both sexes, but when this is not possible I do not see the problem in placing a child with loving parents of the same sex. It is not unhealthy.
There are many things that people see unhealthy but it would fuck up our society.

I wouldn't want to live in a society where men fuck Sheeps, men making out in public places, people walking naked, pedophiles playing with some kids etc... Many things I can name/mention are not unhealthy to some but it fucks up our societies IMO of course.

Again, look at western countries like Sweden and how far they've come. These countries have had as much issues with homophobia as any other in the past. It's possible. Just like the fight against racism was possible (even the fight against racism isn't over yet), but it'll take time. You can't take away someone's human rights just because there are bigots out there.

Homophobia is as bad as racism, for sure.

Let's ask this again: What is your evidence that children raised by gay parents have more chances to become gay themselves??

I want a proper scientific source. Thank you.

You are comparing uncomparable things.

Probably not. But it's something you can't run away from. Schools affect kids to a certain age.
Yes, but ins schools you can get bullied for being fat, skinny, having pimples, wearing glasses, wearing ugly clothes... etc, etc... thats not really a strong argument against gay adoption. kids might get bullied because their mother is white and father black, should we ban interracial relationships?

I am not  each to his own IMO, but then again I'm just questioning some of you people, where one should draw this thin line of human rights?
