yes, mate...your post got me thinking...and I recalled that it was early 2011 when we first, perhaps, put an agreement in place to sign him and his brother, but due to his age, we had to wait until he turned 18 before sealing the deal officially. He spent the second half of last season officially a part of our primavera, then was loaned out to Pro Vercelli this summer, in a deal which allows Pro Vercelli to co-own at the end of the season, but rather than see this as a lack of belief on our part, I see it more as a fairs fair move towards Pro Vercelli. The teams who play our kids, develop them, deserve something for their investment...sometimes its enough for them to have the services of ultra talented youngsters, sometimes they require a little more, such as a co-ownership fee which can be decided long before the blind auction arrives. Potential ownership of 50% of a player's registration is added incentive to the loanee club to nurture and develop our player.
