I've lost my father to cancer 4 years ago so I know what a terrible experience it is to watch your old man fight with it. I hope your case will end up differently then mine. Good luck man.

I just don't know what to say in matters like these. Get completely lost for words. I feel for you, man, and I wish you and your family all the best. I hope there's good news regarding your father in 2-3 months time, when you'll know more. Good luck, Chester.

Cancer is such a hell of a disease -- the inhumane treatments, the getting sick to get better, the repetition and exhaustion of treatments, and how it not only afflicts those with the disease but also everyone around them. If there's a silver lining to that experience -- having lost my mother-in-law to cancer a couple years ago -- it's that it sometimes gives you time to make things right and say your goodbyes the way you'd like to.

It's a hard, transformative journey. But best wishes for grace throughout all that.

And congrats on the new family addition. :)

So sorry to hear that, Ches. I know it's always difficult in such circumstances but try and get the best time possible with your dad.

Congrats on the new addition to the family. My best friend is expecting twins in March and I'm almost as excited as they are. :D

It won't end different, that is for sure, the only question is when.

Stay strong Chester and congratulations on the coming increase in the family.
    I will, and thx

We'll see, he already lasted longer then expected so we'll just enjoy the time we have left.
Veel sterkte, ik hoop dat het met de nieuwe chemo beter zal gaan. Zorg dat hij de moed niet verliest.

Indeed, pro is that you have time, con is that it takes so long, for everyone.

    We will.

I hope he will get well soon to play with his granddaughter...
If only, you just see that he can't really enjoy it due to the illness.

I'm so sorry Chester, I hope that things go as well as they can. And congratulations on the coming addition!
    thx
