I'm extremely happy for you man! I hope the worst that will ever come through your life is gone for good.
Cheers to that.

@Swag
Inshallah all will go well. I really don't know what to say in circumstances like these.

Ches, that is great news my man.

Greg, I know exactly what you are going through. I went through it 2 years ago with my mother in law who passed away. I'll be thinking of you and your family, Bro.

I was operated, in order to remove my thyroid cancer today.
The operation was successful!
I m writing this post from the recovery bed.
Fantastic! I wish you a quick recovery. Take it easy now & focus on getting well.

A day sooner then expected, but the verdict is in.

On the CT scan, no active cancer was spotted anymore.
All cancer in his lung was gone, and around his long pipe, there only was some dead cancer left which only needs to die away but won't do him harm anymore.
So all in all, the treatment was 100% succes.

I'd like to thank you all for the support in these very though months.
Love you all :heart:, and although only virtual friends, this won't ever be forgotten :dule:.
Great! Must have been tough for you & your family. Just glad it all ended well.

My mother-in-law is speaking to an oncologist right now about her options for her kidney cancer. Stuff is going around...
This is sad news indeed. Get a 2nd opinion Greg it might be helpful. Wish you & your family the best.

There's no cure (it's now classified as a stage 4 bladder cancer), and they are canceling scheduled surgeries because she's too weak and should instead go straight to chemotherapy, etc. My gut feel is that she may have a couple months to live tops, unless she reacts to chemo with a massive turnaround, but nobody is really confirming anything to keep things open.
Sounds like hope is what's left. I'll be doing that.

Ahhh fuck. This thread is like an emotional rollercoaster. I hope the treatment has that unexpected effect, which it can often have and things turn out just fine man. My thoughts are with you and your family, stay strong dude!

Great news, Chester! :weee::jvefan::weee::jvefan::weee:

That's awesome news, Chester. These life and death things are so critical. You're going to be on watch for the next 5 years, but this is a massive hurdle. Congrats!!!
Unfortunately my mother-in-law's news isn't nearly as good, so you have to take what life offers you.
:sad: I'm sorry to hear that!
