I am playing with Leeds. Looking for cheap additions for january window. By cheap I mean below 10m euros. Preferably a striker, right fullback and centerback, All suggestions are welcomed. Right now Rodrigo is playing as a false 9, I'm not sure about that moving forward and sold Bamford now.

In my Juve save Barca gave up Puig and Dest for like 7m combined.

For striker Julian Alvarez

CB you can maybe look at Sule to offer him a contract and then use the option buy now if he agrees to it and signs

I told you, bro use Kulusevski as attack minded CM/ AP. Now Castrovili is my 2nd choice
Kulu is not strong enough for me - It was nice using him for the first season but now when I have better options I think I`ll use him as a backup
I currently have this: Gavi (some Barca talent 17 year old),Mck, Rabiot, Bentancur, Ramsey, Arthur, Locatelli and Arthur
Dybala is also a question for me as I can do this:
Dybala behind 2 forwards (Mbappe Morata or even go for Haaland)
or I can use Dybala as one of the forwards which means Morata is going to the bench.
Kulu as CM AP type? I see many faults and dont even want to try him there.
Its Pogba vs SMS vs someone else (Just need to find out who is that someone else)
Midfield I`ll use Locatelli CM Rabiot/Mck/Bentancur
Goretzka is very interesting but he is on high wages and isnt suited for the playmaker type which is what Im looking for

I have the money so thats not an issue - Issue is just picking up the right player and since KDB isnt available its basically every other CM who isnt De Bruyne.

After that I need to sort our who am I playing upfront.
Then I need the motivation to play another season as I already won it all...

When Kulu came I argued he would be best suited in a mezzela role or De Bruyne role, so it doesn't surprise me. When I start my save I'll try it out too!

I still think he can make it as he is super talented but he has some major faults to work on such as decision making and improve his other foot.

He plays the role well for me. Good runs through the middle, good passing vision workrate though I am considering replacing him in that role if i get the chance to sign SMS. It would be killer to have SMS long shooting ability from that position

Try out this corner routine. Have one player come short to the taker (drags an opposing marker) but instead hit it near post to your best player in the air.

Lol.. Kind of things that can only work on FM.
Well I thought the same about that ridiculous defending of free kicks when one is lying on the grass to block a shot that comes underneath...
I always thought to myself why dont they try to lob it past the wall for another player to have a clear shot on goal as the one lying on the floor would block all the others from getting in time to block it.

SMS came to my thoughts but he is quite slow and I like my players to be fast and dynamic.
In the end I have the option to start Gavi - some rare talent 17 year old but still has to improve to get into the level I expect from my players.
SMS Pogba and there is also a Sporting Lisbon guy who is 23 year old or 24 year old who is also quite good (although not as good).

Its important to me that my advanced playmaker to have a good vision and flair but also could dribble and shoot from distance while not being slow
Everyone has their defects that keep me away from signing them.
    SMS - Slow
Pogba - Cant defend, old, has some serious wages and costly (not a freebie - signed an extention)
Little Sporting dude - He looks like a slight improvement over Gavi but he isnt the best there is and if I get him its only to fill a spot until Gavi becomes ready or if he turns into a monster...
L.Alberto - He is also on my list but there are things like pace and his age that I dont like.. Tried to loan him as a temp solution - failed up until now as they want 1.6M per month and I offer 1.2M at best. There is also an option to buy but I dont care about it as Im not buying him...

Kulu is nowhere near these players in this position so he is not even considered as a player for that midfield role (He is my guy behind the forwards though, well at least before I signed Mbappe...)

Update: I loaned L.Alberto with the intention of seeing how Gavi develops.
Played about 4 games into the new season and Mbappe is outshining Morata - last two games 8 goals!

Liverpool is so fucking OP in this game the last few years. I barely squeaked past them with 4 goals scored and a man up for 88 minutes. No matter what I do I can't keep them under 20+ shots and countless clear chances

First year with Leeds and without additions I didn't have that much issue taking them on. What I did was keep possession and press them down. In the final 10 they start to cause some problems because of dead legs and then throwing everyone up. But that's how I've managed them so far. United was more difficult. Dominated them the entire game away, had more than 60% possession, lots of chances etc but they scored their two shots on goal

Just beat Conte's Spurs 7-0. They're placed 14th with 30 points after 25 games (first season). We're in 5th position, one point behind Chelsea but they have one game to play. Next season we will have 30m to spend and I need 35m to activate the purchase option clause in Gravenberch's loan contract. The squad is really small as I've sold off some to reduce salaries etc. Even if I manage to sell some more I still need to increase width if we're going to play in Europe. But Graven is fundamental for us so... I'm not super optimistic about next year. If we start falling down in the table I'll be kind of OK with it. Need another year to grow the budget.
    Really fun despite the headache.

Changed them a lot since starting. Last season a high defense with narrow defending worked very well, but this season De Ligt was awful to start. Every other game he would let people run behind him so had to lower it a bit and move him back from stopper to defend role. Chiesa finally playing like real Chiesa in this IF-A role. Had him as IW-S and A but wasn't that great last season.

Dybala inconsistent too, have tried him both as CAM and CF, seems a bit better in this CF-Su role. The 3 mids are playing great consistently.

I've had most success with Dybala as right winger IW Attacker. Makes good runs through the center and sets up the left winger (duty IF attack) quite well

Where did you get that white background?

I didnt sign anyone in my first season and won it all including a 4-0 win vs Chelsea in the Club World Cup final... I kind of did to them what they did to us in real life...

Looks like I will finish 8th in my first season in the PL with Coventry, which I am proper chuffed with. Managed to get Samuele Ricci and Talles Magno for about £6m each and they have made a big difference, but loans are key with a relatively small budget. Also got Pontus Dahlberg in goal for £2m from Watford, great keeper for a promoted team.

Sometimes you get lucky with transfer listed players, or a team offers you 150% of a player's value and you can improve the team in general. I've got a couple of players like this I hope will attract bids as they've done well even if they are not the level of player I want.

    The title race is ridiculous:

    1637932253144.png

Man Utd need to win both of the last two games to win the title, they play City away and win it. Liverpool need to win to stay in the hunt, they have a very strong Chelsea team away and smash them 5-0.

Reason I said I'll finish 8th is because I have Man City away last game, doubt I'll get near them.

Man Utd are away to Leicester. Liverpool are away to Arsenal. Maybe a twist to come...

Oh yeah, Man Utd got Mbappe on a free, hence their position. And Ronaldo has scored 34 league goals.
